I originally visited here because I wanted to open a Tax Haven ISA account, however I was kept waiting about 30 mins longer than the time for my appointment before I was even called up, though after that the service was impecable. I was offered coffee/hot chocolate from a vending machine upstairs and given all the information I needed when opening the account. Surprisingly they didn't try to sell me anything over and above what I went in for (are you listening Alliance & Leicester?!) and this is why I would return there. One comment would be that they have more than one staff on reception as the lady on duty that day clearly had a lot to do on her own. read more

this bank is located on the main street opposite debenhams. There are several cash machines located outside the branch which are always busy, espically at weekends. There are cash machines inside as well. there are always several counters open and the staff are professional and effective. There are personal bankers available during the day and there are private rooms should you want to talk in more private surroundings. read more

As for me now this is best bank ever with friendly customer service and great online banking with flash-time transactions!
