They had a great selection and I was even looking forward to going back because the staff made me feel very comfortable and the price was right. (if you haven't read the book look it up and you'll know exactly what I'm talking about) The Seybold building can be very overwhelming especially when you don't know exactly what you're looking for. After stopping into a few shops, Barclays was our last stop. Walking in we were quickly greeted by the owners brother who then passed us over to Sally. Originally I wanted a wedding band with a curve to fit my ring but then I decided to go to a regular band. Fast forward to the ring I picked, Sally was openly listening to all of my concerns and was able to find the perfect one for me... it had a slight curve that is barely noticeable but still looks like a solid straight band going around. I was ECSTATIC to have found something that fell right in between what I was looking for. Not too curvy not too straight but JUST RIGHT! It doesn't stop there... Sally went above and beyond to give us that raving fan service everyone wants. She quickly polished my engagement ring, fit it with a ring guard, polished my new wedding band, and gave us tips and tricks on how to keep them clean. The Seybold building can be an intimidating and sparkly place, but we walked right into this shop and felt comfortable right away. It is run by a wonderful family that gives excellent customer service. They have so many options it was hard to choose! Right away I saw the ring I wanted-- but they didn't have it in white gold, and it wouldn't be able to be ordered in time for my wedding in two weeks. SO the owner's lovely daughter that was helping us, she offered to have the gold one rhodium plated. Then after we are married, i can come back and switch it out for the white gold one. Brilliant! If they don't have it, they can get it; but suffice it to say that they are the only jewelers in Miami that carry the stunning Verragio collection of engagement/wedding rings. I guess 35 years of service speaks for itself. Located in the famous Seybold Building, parking is a bit of a mission; but there are valet that will be happy to assist you for $10 for the first hour or $15 "all day." Sometimes you just gotta suck it up and pay for valet, you'll save thousands at Barclays anyways! Found a great engagement ring on their website, but it wasn't available right away so I went in person to find a similar ring. Gallina was super helpful and found me a very similar ring well within my price range. I got it resized and plated in rose gold and just a couple of days later I was ready to pop the question. My only complaint is that they were a little inconsistent with regard to estimates on when the ring would be ready. Big thanks to Barclay's from me and my new fiancee!
