DO IT! BOOK THE SHOOT! I know you're over here reading these reviews and trying to make the decision if you should do it....HONEY, BOOK THE SHOOT!! What can I say about this experience and this photography team?? They're the most uplifting, amazing, empowering, funny, fun duos you will ever come across. The nerves immediately melt away upon meeting up with Mariah and Bellizzimo Beauty artist! We chatted the morning away while I got dolled up. She made me look like a goddess!! And even better, the hair and makeup lasted all day (my hair never holds curl). Patrick showed up, introduced himself and it was like I'd known him forever. Mariah helped me pick out different outfits that looked good, poured me a delicious mimosa and it was time to begin!! The first outfit and part of the shoot, it was easy to get the hang of and started feeling comfortable pretty immediately. it also helped that Patrick showed how it was done before getting you in the same pose for your photos. The time literally flew by once he started snapping pictures. After a couple costume changes, it was all said and done. 3+ hours seem to fly by in a matter of minutes. The whole time they were so positive and complimentary that there was no way you couldn't feel beautiful! A couple days later I got to come back and see the images. I was BLOWN AWAY!! Is, is that me?!?!? I hate pictures of myself and had a hard time narrowing it down. Luckily I brought my bestie to help me out!! All in all, this experience was amazing! Ok let me start from my beginning. I don't know which friend it was that introduced me to Bare Heart Boudoir but I was immediately hooked and intrigued so I naturally invited my sisters to their Facebook page and we all started interacting and getting hooked on the idea of boudoir photos. We organized a Group FaceTime with Mariah and I was amazed by her energy and excitement. Unfortunately I was in one of those spots that I was nervous about personal funds and temporarily decided I would put off the idea of a photo shoot. But one of my sisters booked a session and from start to finish I was impressed, amazed and jealous. Right at that contemplative stage, Bare Heart advertised an new idea. Couple boudoir! OMFG! We're they speaking to me and my camera ham hubby??!! I immediately contacted Mariah and everything was set in motion. We booked a date several months in advance and set up a pre payment plan for the photo package. Mariah sent lots of emails and messages and kept me on point with all my paranoia over my outfits, hair, tan, extra 15 pounds, etc. I was nervous, but she graciously walked me through a few months of jitters with excitement and ease. When the big day arrived, all the nerves set in again. We arrived at the studio and were welcomed by our preferred music playlist, snacks and beverages of our choice, personal take home slippers and robes, an amazing team of hair and makeup professionals and all of Mariah's perfect energy. All inhibitions melted away! It was so easy to play all day with both Mariah and Patrick (and my super sexy hubby). Along with all the fun and devoted 1 on 1 attention they put into our day, it was still a completely professional and comfortable experience. I was on a high for days after the shoot! But then we went back for our reveal and began to build our album, select our wall art and revel in all of the glorious photos! Bare Heart allowed us to see ourselves from a different point of view. We got to see ourselves as youthful and sexy and fun again! And most importantly we remembered how much we love our lives and each other and the excitement of everything we have over come through all of our years. This opportunity revived such a vital sense of love, pride and excitement in our relationship! I have never in my entire 48 yrs of life thought that I could have the confidence to take photos for my husband in sexy lingerie and there I was killing it. Anyone that knows me well knows that I was so shy when I was a little girl and teenager. I have dreamed about having photos of myself done for many years but never had the courage after having two c-sections and a full hysterectomy at 36 years old. My stomach has always been something I have never liked about myself but recently I have embraced it and realized my body tells a story about my life and who I am and Mariah and Patrick made me feel like I was the prettiest and sexiest woman there is during my shoot. From the time I got my first email from Mariah with details and asking what my likes on music are,my favorite drinks,snacks etc which they had all waiting on me at the time of my session.
