We did not get to meet Kasie and Patrick in person until our wedding weekend, though we interviewed them on zoom due to being from San Diego and not the SLO area. We immediately got a sense of warmth and charisma from the power couple. :) There are countless things that I can say about them but I'll say my top which I think may be of service to others who are scouting for their photographer/videographer: -Kasie and Patrick are extremely in sync. They tell it like it is in a very tactful and get-down-to-business way. When you're up against the clock, and you don't have a lot of time to be indecisive .. they can help you make sound decisions, as they are experts at their craft. Our hotel venue could not let us know where we could have a moment for the first look, but they scouted out the best spot right away. -great communication. Most of our wedding guests complimented how nice they were and how efficient and quick they were. -on my wedding day there were countless moments of stress that I could never in a million years foresee (I tried to plan for things so it'd be smooth sailing day-of) and they were like so nice to me when I felt my head was going to explode with anxiety. One of my favorite moments of the day they probably don't remember, but it was when Kasie and I were in the elevator before the first look and she was just so empathetic and kind to listen to me vent about how I felt in over my head with having such a big bridal party (who were a hand full to say in the least!) .. and also Patrick helping me put on my high heel shoes again when I took them off since they were killing my feet. 1000% would seek their services again if I'm in the area again to visit, or in town for a family reunion. Patrick and Kasie are amazing. We picked them last minute after talking to many photographers and looking through endless websites and packages. I will admit their reasonable pricing scared me. I am all about you get what you pay for. We liked their pictures, loved their prices and we were out of time, (I believe we booked them just weeks before our wedding) so we just went for it. We couldn't be happier with our decision I truly believe it was meant to be that we booked SLO Town Studios. Not only were the pictures and highlights reel fabulous but they started on our pictures right away and sent them to us as the finished editing. We got our first set of pictures back while on our honeymoon. It was perfect like magical, for real. Besides doing a great job Kasie and Patrick were very professional and friendly. Everyone felt very comfortable with them. Kasie even brought a emergency kit with things like safety pins that we ended up needing and didn't have in my bridal emergency kit. Kasie saved the day and a bridesmaid dress with her emergency kit. They also got along great with our other venders. many of the other venders all know each other and have worked with each other in the past Patrick and Kasie seemed to fit right in with the group and everyone worked together as a team to make our day perfect. The day was almost perfect except for the crazy winds. I heard from locals that 5/6/2017 was one of the windiest days ever on Pismo Beach. Patrick and Kasie worked right through it like it was nothing. I am sure we were all pretty miserable out there on the sand that day but they never complained or stopped smiling even as they had to dump sand out of their equipment after the beach ceremony. I believe it was their brilliant idea to do the family photos on the restaurant balcony rather than the beach as we previously wanted. The pictures came out great and the ocean was still in the back ground and we didn't have to freeze and get sand blown on us. At sunset they had noticed the wind died down so me, my husband, Patrick and Kasie ran down to the beach real quick and got some awesome sunset pics on the beach. I really have nothing bad to say about SLO Town Studios. The pictures and video are great! Patrick and Kasie were great and their prices can't be competed with. read more

If you are anything like we were while planning out "The Perfect Wedding", then you are probably sick of all the nickel and diming games vendors play. Rest assure, Slo Town Studio is very professional and not the nickel and diming type. Words cannot describe how awesome Patrick and Kasie were and how much effort they put into our wedding! I cannot count the amount of times Kasie or Patrick put out fires not related to photography or videography. These two are amazingly talented and know how to capture the perfect moments. Prior to the wedding day, they were extremely friendly and responsive to any and all questions we had.... even though some of them were not related to photography or videography. This theme played out multiple times throughout our wedding. On the day of, they were absolutely spot on with everything. They kept us all on schedule and efficiently moved through all the shots needed and requested. They reminded us on where we needed to be and when to go. They worked harmoniously with all our vendors as if they had known each other for years. When something went wrong, they just fixed the problem and didn't say a word. They made issues disappear and still captured every detail of our day perfectly. After a day or so Kasie and Patrick started to post brilliant pictures for us to view. It was certainly a treat to see the amazing shots trickle in throughout our honeymoon making everything that much more magical. I hired Patrick as my videographer for my wedding, and was pleasantly surprised (shocked really), that his affordable price included a wonderful assistant named Kasie. Patrick and Kasie were such a great team! They showed up on time (actually I think it was a little early) on the day of my wedding, and worked incredibly hard to make sure they captured every moment. They were so kind and really just seemed like they had everything together and knew exactly what needed to be done. I think I asked them about 2-3 times "Are you sure your price includes an edited video??" (so many other videographers that I had interviewed added it as an extra cost and were triple Patrick's price), and each time they reassured me that it did. This had to have been the most reasonable expense of my entire wedding, and it turned out something so valuable to me. We have enjoyed watching the video so much, I couldn't imagine not having it!!!
