Most of their floor is dedicated to beds frames and couches, but they also carry rugs, wall art, baby furniture, bookcases, end tables, gazebos, outdoor furniture, and more. They primarily carry Ashley furniture, but they have a few other brands as well. Note: Do be aware there's a knife store inside the furniture store flying "Don't Tread on Me" merch. PROS: -Fantastic pricing! Remember: the blue tags mean the price listed on the tag is HALF OFF. (I only found that out halfway through.) I thought $130 for a tall bookcase was pretty good, but once it was halved, that's just ridiculously good now. -Really friendly service. They clearly know the line between "being helpful" and "giving you space to explore". They popped in every 20 minutes or so, but they mostly kept their distance to allow us to sit on and discuss all of the different furniture. -Different ways to get your furniture. They don't offer delivery themselves, but they have a company they suggest using and all the details about how to use it. They have show models you can take home that day and other options you have to order in and wait for. Good options. -Good clearance selection. It's definitely a hodgepodge of stuff, but it's a CHEAP hodgepodge of stuff. They have lamps, chairs, couches, gazebos, auto parts (?), and more. It's a whole bunch of random stuff. CONS: -I'd love to see their pick-up hours extended for out-of-towners. They close pick-up at 6pm, and we weren't able to make it out of work and make the drive to get there by 6pm (traffic at rush hour is intense!). We'd have to come in on the weekend or take a day off work. -Otherwise, nothing! We didn't come away with anything, but they had a great selection of items, and I think this was probably one of the best places to start our couch shopping. The salesperson was fine. The wait for the ordered couch was 7-8 weeks which I understood. But, now that I have the couch, there's a big problem that I can't seem to get any help. I had to pay for the delivery. I had to pay extra because I used a credit card, and extra for them to for the set up. The center portion of the couch is not on right. After several calls to the moving company (Queen City Delivery) who was recommended by Bargains and Buyouts, and several calls to the furniture store I'm at my wits end.I even went to the corporate website and used the email address that they advertised (many times to make sure of the address)the email was returned as undeliverable. Bought a sectional in Feb 2022 for $1500, luckily - I say luckily with a grain of salt, also purchased the warranty. Within a few weeks, color began to change, frame then broke (there's only two of us - averaged sized adults) and we aren't home often enough at the same time to warrant this type of wear. Not even sure when/how the frame broke, but it felt like sitting on the floor. Contacted the insurance company about our warranty, a technician finally came out, and then we get notified that the insurance company approved an "entire" new sectional. Low and behold on delivery day, they only had 2/3 pieces of the sectional! Leaving two different heights on either side of the wedge. Along with 2/3 color of the sectional not even remotely close to the old side. The new sectional arm doesn't feel or look even remotely close to what we originally purchased. I'm really unsure how this was able to happen, selling such a terribly made product at that price. Contacting the store and insurance company provides no help. Will never buy another piece of furniture from here again. read more

Really decently priced couches here. If you've been couch shopping any time recently, something becomes immediately apparent: either couches are $600 and feel like plywood wrapped in burlap (think, Wayfair), or they're $8-$12K pieces that nearly require you to re-mortgage your house. This might be pessimistic (and makes me begrudgingly identify with my current generation), but some prices at other stores gave me a hopeless feeling. Basically: no millennial, EVER, will be able to afford a pottery barn or restoration hardware couch in our entire lives. Seriously who can afford over ten grand for a piece of furniture that will wear out and get shuffled/ banged up on many inevitable moves. The solution: bargains and buyouts. I'll admit I didn't end up buying anything here. The one couch I liked (a leather piece in the back with the rotating items) was gone the next day and I never found anything else that compared. For most needs though, they have many items comparable to Ashley, Watson's etc. at literally 1/2 the sticker price. You can get a *huge* 5 piece sectional for $1500, and the prices go down from there. If you're in the market for a new piece of furniture you absolutely have to at least do due diligence and compare everywhere else to this place. Another benefit: you can no longer say you've never had a reason to go to the West Side. read more

I went to this place looking for a accent chair for my living room. The first time I went I didn't see what I was looking for and a lot of the chairs had imperfections. The second time I went I found exactly what I was looking for, and was able to get $100 off of the chair when it was already well below the retail price. The salesman was very friendly and reasonable with pricing and put the chair in my car for me. We were looking for a sectional couch -- they had a *huge* selection of good quality, and the prices here seem to be between those in a typical furniture store and those in an overstock/outlet store. Very reasonable, and the staff was very helpful. They also have daily deals on different items in the style that rotate, and you can haggle on the prices (I haven't tried yet, so I can't claim any grand success here yet). There were plenty of beds and tables here as well. I will definitely be checking back -- we haven't made our final couch decision yet, but I'm leaving toward some of the items in this store! read more

I don't understand how this place doesn't have more 5 star reviews! This store has the best selection I have seen and best in stock inventory. You won't have to wait 6 months for a piece of furniture here, they have a great selection of stuff you can take home today at a better price. Employees work hard here too. We were helped by a guy named Tree when selecting our couch we got. Very informative and knowledgeable. We were helped by Les who helped load our couch. Les is a very hard worker and we hope he knows how appreciated he is. This location is about 5 times bigger than the Greenhills location as well. I highly recommend to come here. Saw this place promoting $2-3 dollar bins on Facebook and I thought I'd check it out. They had some good priced home goods and furniture, like coffee tables, lamps and bar stools on one side, the other side is reserved for big bins full of junk/treasure that are priced down each day. I believe they said the bins are restocked on Friday, so you have to go at the right time (and wait in a long line) to find good deals. I like that you can bargain on price for things you want and they have a ton of hardware fixtures like knobs, drawer pulls, etc. I didn't find anything to buy as most of the items were more farmhouse or traditional style. I'd go back with a list of specific items to buy for cheap, not recommended for just browsing. read more

I, and a friend were shopping in the Western Hills Bargains and Buyouts Home store, recently. I was looking for a small dinning room table and chairs. It took us over two hours, when i finally found what i wanted. We called one of the service men in the store to ask questions. i definitely wanted the items, so he gave us a price, and i ask him if i should pay for it at the time i was there. He said, "no", i could do that when i came back to pick it up. He also said, that he would put it in the 'hold' room until i did. I trusted he would keep his word. I called my two sons to come with me to bring it home 3 days later in one of their trucks. I even called the store to let them know when i would pick it up. When we got there, and went to the desk to pay for it, plus two more chairs it took us another hour to find, the man said, "it was sold". I said, "What? The man told me a few days ago he would hold it for me until i picked it up." Another man showed me a picture of it on his cell phone, and said it was sold. I said why? He said because it was not paid for, and not put on 'hold room'. I was devastated to tears. I feel this store has greatly offended my rights by selling the items to someone else, and that the least they could do is apologize, but none was offered, or no other alternative to make up for their mistake. I absolutly love this place. If you are moving, redecorating or thinking about any of the above you have to check this place out. I found so many steals (really i feel like I am stealing that is how good the prices are) i tell everyone I know about it. On top of their low prices is the fact that you can negotiate on 90% of the merchandise in the stores. Also if you follow their facebook you can find out about their specials (50% off rugs, 20% off store wide, 50% accent chairs). Since discovering this place I have gotten so many good deals including a kitchen table with chairs for $30, patio set (2 chairs and table) $30, a large area rug that retails for about 1400 for $99. Was recommended this place from a friend. When we went there they had a great selection of furniture for different rooms of the house. The only problem we had was the staff. We felt very rushed while asking questions and looking for furniture . Then after the final sale process the guy who we went through for our purchase said "oh i probably should have offered you the warranty on these couches. This place is AWESOME if you're shopping for deals. They were having a 60% off rug clearance, plus 20% off everything in the store so we left with a huge area rug and bar stools. The bar stools were normally $99 per pair but we got them for $80, and the area rug was only $60. They have tons of couches and bedroom sets and patio furniture too. Some of the furniture is dinged up, so just make sure you inspect it before you pay. The bar stools we were looking at were wobbly so I asked them to see if they could tighten the bolts before we purchased it, and they did. They also carried everything out to our car for us. You can bargain with them to try to negotiate the prices...Some people like that, and some don't. The bar stools were non-negotiable, but if that's the case they'll say "firm" on the price tag so you know. read more

Went here last night around 7 to buy a dresser and 2 night stands. Walk in to 5 employees standing around talking. No big deal, we find the dresser we want hunt someone down so we can get a ticket. Go to wait in line with 2 people ahead of us. There was 1 very nice young man working the register. As we are waiting one of the sales guys comes over tells the guy working the register he needs to print something out for him in a very rude manner. The phone rings he asks if someone else can answer it while he's busy. The man who answered it brings the phone over to him says " it's for you I don't know who it is." And sets the phone down. The guy is clearly busy and the only one working while everyone else stands around and talks. Again phone rings he is the only one who answered it. He's trying to help the people at the register and answer the phone while everyone else is standing around talking. We waited in line at least 20 minutes due to all the distractions. Finally get up there to pay and the gentleman is clearly overwhelmed. He says "I'll be right back I have to do something real quick."By that time we were out of patience. My husband told him to just keep it and gave him the ticket back. We have bought so much furniture from them since they opened. I really really really love this place and its always the first place I go when I need a new piece of furniture. I bought a house this summer and have furnished nearly every room with Bargains and Buyouts items. The prices are unbeatable and when they say you can bargain them down even farther they aren't lying! A few things to note: 1. Their inventory changes literally every day so if you see something you like you have to be decisive knowing it may not be there when you come back another day. It can be hit or miss, but so far I have had nothing but great luck on all my visits. 2. All sales are final, so measure twice, buy once 3. GO EARLY! Go early in the mornings, I prefer on Saturdays, so you can get to the new inventory before anyone else. 4. Sign up for the rewards program, no joke its basically just being paid to shop there. 5. There are two stores, one near Winton Woods and one on the west side. The one in near Winton Woods is much smaller, but in my opinion easier to shop in and has higher quality furniture. The west side store is gigantic and still has nice stuff, but tends to be more picked over. 6. They both have kiosks that make ordering furniture really easy, but these prices cant be changed. **I just recently ordered a couch and there was some miscommunication that resulted in my couch not being ordered. 3 weeks later I called to get a tracking update and was told the couch was just being ordered that day. They offered to rush the order and gave me a $100 credit for the inconvenience. This is the only problem I've ever had with bargains and buyouts and to be honest it wont keep me from continuing to shop here. I called the Glen Crossing store. No one answered. I left a message. So did my wife. So we called the Green Hills store. Got our call answered. We inquired as to whether they have bathroom vanities and were told that they had a "bunch" at the Glen Crossing store. We do the 30 minute drive. The teenagers at the front door pointed and said the vanities were " over there". They had NONE. I asked a lady at a desk who was wearing ear buds during business hours, the same question about where the vanities were. She told me they had a " bunch" at the Green Hills store. Riiiight. I then mentioned of they answered the phones I could have saved myself an hour round trip. I even stopped at front door and called again, no answer. Must be the earbuds. Bottom line, the items were over priced for what they were. Go to a garage sale if looking for used stuff. $50 for scratched and broken end tables, $200 for no name faucets with no warranty, and poor service all told me " do not go back". read more

This store is very hit or miss. However, you can find some great deals on indoor and outdoor furniture. We came here and found some reclaimed barn wood from Indiana which was converted into a chest. It is by far one of my favorite pieces of furniture that we own. This store is located on the West Side and I have referred a lot of friends to come here. They allow you to name a price and give you the change to bargain with them, which is a lot of fun! read more
