And we could walk our happy butts across the street at literally anytime of day pretty much. Anything you need for the beach? Got it. Amazing beer/seltzer selection? Duh. Need some fresh produce? Got it. Need some snacks? Got that too. We went almost every day for something we needed. And was it alittle overpriced yeah maybe. But not one of us had to get in our car and drive somewhere. We took a 30 second walk over and was ready for the beach. ALSO the people we work there are so nice!!!!

When it comes to making pit stops on road trips if there's a Buc-ee's in the vicinity I'm stopping. Many of the staff are very nice and the store is clean and well organized. Of course I have to mention just how awesome the restrooms are. These are the cleanest public restrooms I've been in hands down. Because most locations are quite busy it's important to keep an eye on the items you're purchasing and what exactly is being rung up. This visit I was charged for an extra item. Thankfully it was one of the lesser expensive things, around $2.00, so it doesn't upset me. But I will be more cognizant in the future.

It's great to see some effort and I was encouraged but of course on my out I was reminded that they still have only one lane open since closing the other during covid. The restricted drive thru availability obviously translates into longer lines inside and out. That just doesn't make a lot of sense if you really care about your customers. The property is pretty tight being this Tom Thumb is located in the middle of a strip mall with businesses extending out from both side without a well planned traffic pattern. In the time it took me to pump my gas I had two close calls with vehicles trying to squeeze by to transverse the parking lot at speeds that were unsafe in my opinion. The prices here were competitive with the other stations in the area although after this experience I'd be okay paying a few cents more per gallon. I had no interaction with the staff being I paid at the pump so my review is essentially based on the lack of useable space outside and a complete lack of traffic signage it's pretty much a free for all...
