Beware of this business!!! They used dead flowers on my loved ones casket spray. Why would anyone…read moredo such a thing when you are already grieving the lost of your loved one? I thought this was ridiculous and then they overcharged me for those dead flowers. I knew I should have ordered from 1800flowers but because of the loss of my loved one I was not thinking clearly. I learned a valuable lesson though to never go to a florist with a storefront set up like a food carryout. This was the worst experience ever that I have had with a florist.

The arrangement was enormous, and each day it changed slightly as some of the buds bloomed. I looked forward to walking in my kitchen to see the stunning flowers each morning. A few days ago, I broke the arrangement apart and took out anything still in excellent condition and made a new (albeit not as beautiful) arrangement and it's still going strong. Wishing I could have flowers from Esther's delivered every couple of weeks-I've NEVER had better flowers given to me and I'm lucky to have a generous husband who spoils me with them on ridiculously regular basis.

The inside has many arrangements and there were 3 VERY SWEET Ladies working behind the counter. I decided to treat myself to some red roses. They even fanned the roses out and gave them to me in green paper as if I was a beauty pagent winner. The roses were high quality and beautiful. They told me to hold them like a baby as I walked to the car. Look for their sign outside when they run a $10 and up special for bouquets. My father in law passed away late Friday, June 2nd. We went to the funeral home at 12 noon Saturday June 3rd to make arrangements for his visitation, funeral and graveside service. We left after 2pm and went to another florist in the area that was a friend of the family. No offense to that florist, her selections were slim pickings and she didn't seem too accommodating since she was low on fresh cut flowers because of "prom weekend". My wife was so upset because she wanted the perfect flower arrangement for her "daddy". We began calling to realize that florist shut down and close shop early on Saturdays. I also know that sometimes a shop owner will still be around working, even though the shop is closed. I called Talley's and left a message... it was a shot in the dark. My wife didn't want to wait until Monday to figure this out when the visitation was scheduled for that evening. After about 20 minutes of giving up, my phone rang... it was Amy! She took the time to talk with us outside of business hours. She was sympathetic and compassionate towards us and our circumstances. We trusted her expertise and experience to provide us with an beautiful flower/plant combination. We arrived to the funeral home Monday evening and looked for the flower/plant arrangement. WOW! It was so beautiful! My wife started crying. It was exactly why she wanted. Amy went above and beyond for us. Her expert knowledge combined with taking the time to listen to us to understand our wishes produced an amazing arrangement. She is an example of what your floral experience should be. I asked if I could call back and consulted my wife and we made our choice. I called back, and the very helpful voice helped finalize the order, asking several questions about delivery timing, etc. They cared enough to want to help get it all right. Their communication was well above average, giving me updates through the process and delivery. It reinforces the soft power of a local business for a reasonable fee, I was able to deliver a live plant hundreds of miles away at a time that worked well and with a personal touch. It's hard to put a value on this kind of thoughtful service. I've updated my contacts for future use when I need something floral in Clover. When you are several hundred miles away and need something done, reach out to a friend for help. In this case the only contact in the area is the gift recipient. Looking for a specific live plant for a specific day, and the big names in the long-distance flower sector weren't available to help you look locally. Of course, the first resource was YELP, but there were similar issues with availability and delivery. I had to resort to desperate measures and used Google Maps to search for a florist near the delivery address and found The Owls Nest Florist. They deserved a review and hopefully, they will pop up on Yelp for others in the future.
