Every time I try change the name of this business to "The Express " it gets denied . Every time I add "the Express " to Yelp it gets deleted. So at this point, I give up. Shopette it is. The last person to review this business was 6 years ago and that absolute garbage disposal gave it 2 stars because of the price of Gatorade. This is a gas station/ convenience store with liquor . Expect everything to be at that price point. With better sales and no tax. Another person gave the business 3 stars because of their lack of craft beer. That was 10 years ago. There is now a whole wall. I know that isn't a ton in the grand scheme of things. But it's something. Hours are different since Covid. No longer 24/7 & liquor sales are much shorter. That doesn't affect my review because, honestly I haven't felt the need for a 12am beer run in decades. The kitchen is up and running. Ready to serve hot food. They still have the absolutely best LBW prices , and outstanding sales. read more

If you look around you can find Limited Editions and hard to find's in here. I've been in here at least half a dozen times and always find good stuff. I collect all kinds of crazy stuff so whenever I am in town I make it a point to stop by here at least once. Really a great down low liquor store read more

Stopped by the Shopette to pick-up GatorAide (32oz), grossly over-priced at $2.37 a bottle, compared to $1.00 at local big-box store.

Not to bad of Shoppette gas prices usually lowest in town it's super easy to get in and out of. Store not to bad pretty good selection of items some pricey. Overall not bad. read more

The Barksdale Shoppette ranks well among its peers, for selection and layout. That said, it's best selling point is the great beverage selection, which is better than most larger Shoppettes. It's a great alternative to the off-post stores. 2.5 stars- I approve:) read more

Nice sized Shoppette. Didn't get gas, only went in the store. The store is large with plenty of selection. The alcohol area (formerly known as the Class Six) was very large but I am giving it 3 stars because it lacks a selection of craft beers. The wine section was phenomenal. They also have at least 6 different flavors of Icee which was a nice find! read more
