The worse is that within less than a month there was a serious leakage in the sunroom (it literally started raining in the living area!!) We must have called them 10 times already. The following Monday he called me and wanted to know why he wasn't able to cash the check, and I said because he took my check, never gave me a receipt, and wouldn't return my calls. He claimed that he never got my messages and blamed it on the girl in the office. Even though I also left voicemail on his personal cell phone. I have no time to deal with people who don't know how to run a business properly. It only takes a minute to make a phone call to reach out to somebody and let them know the status of the job. If he called and explained that they were delayed and wouldn't be coming on the scheduled day, I would have understood. But to take a check from somebody for $1750 , not give them a receipt,and not return phone calls is very unprofessional.

I contacted Allen and got an immediate response. He gave a very fast estimate that I found fair. We moved forward with a deposit and let ran a week later the job is complete. Complete tear off, new drip edge, new composite felt paper, 5 new sheets of wood, new ice and water shield, new plumbing boots, new ridge vent and new architectural shingles and the chimney was flash properly with flashing and counter flashing. He even eliminated a plumbing stack that was left behind from a previous renovation. He took pictures as the work progressed and contacted throughout the progress. If an item arose during progress I was notified as it happened again with pictures to prove it. He made it felt like I was there working with them. (Pictures sent to me from the owner).
