One of the top famous mozzarella producers in the Paestum area, this huge property has a lot of outdoor sitting and a casual indoor space. You can see the animals (and kinda smell them - can't imagine sitting outside on a hot day!)
We were three at lunchtime, inside in October. In order to taste a bit of everything we had the sampler cheese plate and a caprese salad. The portion was plenty for 3 people. Then I shared a portion of delicious ravioli - never seen ricotta so fresh, pouring out of there - and my dad had a hamburger, which he said was just average, surprisingly. For dessert I had to try a ricotta cake, which was nice.
Food was excellent, place is cute - inside perhaps a bit bare, being more bar like than like a restaurant, but with restaurant prices. The 4 rather than 5 star evaluation is due to the slightly high price and the apparently not wonderful hamburger. read more
