I did buy a couple of baskets. They had some really cool art in the back, but they were prints so I skipped them. The originals have been made with leaves and other botanicals to create some really interesting work, but it didn't have the same impact for me as a simple print. The shop carries a lot of home decor sorts of things like baskets, vases, bowls, candles, and that sort of thing. Also they have a wide selection of jewelry. I almost forgot about wanting to stop here until I checked the Yelp collection I made, and we didn't pass the store when wandering along Main Street because it was separated from most of the other shops to some extent, being next door to a restaurant and one other shop but removed from the bulk of the shopping area. So if you want to stop by keep your eyes peeled.

I'd never been in such a big yarn store, and could have spent all day walking from room to room browsing the immense selection with classical music playing softly in the background. The saleslady (owner?) was very friendly and didn't make me feel rushed, even though I'd darted in right before closing. Before going in, check out the cool yarn bombs across and further down the street for inspiration! I didn't see these until a few days later, so I don't know if they're related to the store, but they're a fun addition to the streetscape.

We dropped in here whilest we were having a stroll along Sturgeon Bay's main drag of 3rd Ave.  It's…read morea nice, touristy place to pick up souvenirs or trinklets for any kiddo's in the family.  It's an old school but homey setup with lots of creative toys, books, games, knick-knacks crammed into every open space in the store.  The store is actually owned by Bonnie who also co-owns the White Lace Inn B&B with her husband Dennis, and as a guest at White Lace, we got 10% off of our purchases here.  Naturally, there was PR for this store when we checked in.  Terri was our friendly and welcoming staffer on duty, and I chit-chatted with her as the wife shopped.  That's my standard MO y'know.  The goods are on the pricey side but that's to be expected in this prime touristy location.

Admittedly most of the things for sale are kind of weird or in some cases junky. But what's one mans junk, may be an others gold! Nevertheless, it…read moreis huge and beautiful, with two stories of home goods, decor, furniture, clothing, art and lots more. Upstairs, you'll also find a barber shop, salon and cigar store. I visited around Christmastime, so everything was decorated nicely and festively. They sell all kinds of cute ornaments, and I was this close to purchasing one, but then remembered that I have children who break everything, so I stopped myself from getting a $35 glass ornament. They sell lots of boutique clothing at Bliss -- mostly women's clothing and kids' clothing, but many of the pieces are unique and imported. I could spend a lot of time (and money) at Bliss aka The Marketplace. It's located in downtown Sturgeon Bay, and walkable to all kinds of shops and restaurants.
