They are NOT!!! From the moment the branch manager Tony came round he put me at ease and assured me they would work hard and do their best to get me a good price. They email all appointments and then the day after the viewings you receive another email with HONEST feedback. Tony sold my house within 2 days and achieved over asking price, I moved a couple of weeks ago and things were really smooth proving if you choose an estate agent that knows the market and the area (Tony has lived in the area all his life) things do not have to be difficult. But one thing I can confirm is, they are extremely irresponsible. They promised something but after I paid the rent they are like I never promised you this and that. I used to have Foxtons as my previous agent. I have heard some bad thing about them, but comparing to CityZen, Foxtons is way more responsible and caring about their tenant. Anyways, whatever I request from the landlord/agent, they never do it. Sometimes I doubt if the agent even passed my request to the landlord. All their excuses are, the landlord is not in the country bla bla bla and the answer is alway a NO. They don't even reply you on on the same day, ok that's fine. Sometimes I have to wait for 3-4 days to get their reply for a small request like if I can have some tables removed or a question about the phone line. I don't know if I am asking for too much but that's one of the reason people rent a property via an agency. The point is, my property is fully managed under CityZen. This is actually like I am renting a flat from a private landlord whom I can never speak to. For my previous 2 years experience with Foxtons, I never had this frustration and the rent there was even cheaper than what I am paying now. I am very disappointed and just hoping to finish this one year tenancy asap. This is to remind anybody who's thinking of renting a flat via CityZen. BE PREPARED, YOU ARE GONNA BE ON YOUR OWN. YOU DON'T GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

He has not only remained honest but managed my expectations well when giving me mortgage advice. I have been overwhelmed by the additional help and care that Mr Rastogi has shown whilst I looked for a suitable property to purchase. He often went out of his way, at no extra cost, to search for properties and sent me email links to properties matching my criteria, he even spoke to estate agents on my behalf - a task that can be rather daunting at times. Oh wow, another person dealt with Bahrul at Barnard Marcus. I last spoke to him a few years ago…read more Bahrul is one of the most incompetent & dishonest people I've ever had the misfortune to meet. Usual story of things not working & not being fixed, losing keys, losing paperwork. He got the names of people he worked with wrong (obviously my name too), couldn't use his work phone, computer, printer. He was always shabbily dressed and stank of stale cigarettes and strong body odor. The fees levied before even signing up for the 12m lease were outrageous, but I foolishly didn't question them at the time. It turns out some of them were simply made up and those that were "standard" the prices wildly inflated. Even signing up the lease required me to make 30-40 phone calls over about 6 weeks. He would constantly promise to do XYZ by the end of the day/week etc, and never did anything. Let me stress this, ANYTHING. I had to literally go into the agents multiple times to sort out the most basic of things because he was so disorganized and incompetent. During the lease, multiple issues were never fixed (leaking roof, broken/leaking radiators, apartment never cleaned before moving in etc). Even paying the direct debit required hours of my time because they "deleted" it after 2-3 months. After 12 months, Bahrul called to ask if I wanted to extend the lease (I did for 6 more months, but the owner was going to let me stay on a rolling basis). He said I had to pay the extension fee of £150. I said I wasn't going to do that. I got another call 10 minutes later saying if I paid within 7 days I could get a discount. I then asked Bahrul if I had to pay this fee, because it seemed they had just made it up. He finally admitted it was an optional payment. I said I would take the option to not pay it.

The admin fees were the cheapest I had seen at £95 +VAT and they drive these nice cars which I believe are green friendly. The only down fall I would say is the window display in the office. I think it lets the look of it down. Other than that I would recommend to everyone
