In fact, even though they were not participating in the Dessert Crawl I was there for, they were my first stop. I made such a smart decision. This store has the same type of fantastic inventory you find in Massachusetts, just fewer ducks guarding it. Every space that can reasonably hold a book shelf has one. It's clean, well faced, and has the occasional folding chair to sit and take it all in. The clerk let people browse quietly, which was more appreciated. The prices were written on the inside cover, so it was nice and clear. I'm excited to go back for the next Crawl and include this store as a stop!

I have to say that Andrew went above and beyond to make it a positive experience for us stopping in and instead of just telling us he couldn't play/ wasn't able based off his level and skill, Andrew turned it into a learning opportunity to have my son understand the tournament game rules, watch matches and providing my son and friends a space to play/practice with the game . My son struggles with social settings and social/emotional norms often and tends to self isolate, You have no clue how much that kindness was so very appreciated . I was in New Haven for the week and I came about this campus bookstore. It is about two floors of books and Yale gear. I was happy to walk around and see the local merchandise. There were several clothing items with "Beat Harvard" on it in front. I knew I was not in Boston anymore. I enjoyed seeing the "trending books on campus" section. They had several fun titles such as "How to Drink" and "How to Have a Life." These were made to be helpful to the younger college students to adapt to college life. I could have used these books when I went to college. I did not see them at any of the local bookstores near me. I wanted to buy them and start a collection at my house. This store will usually be filled with Yale students. Everyone was inside drinking coffee and studying or hanging out at the time. It looked like a fun place to be. I would love to come back here and read up on these books in the future.
