The scramble egg is so fluffy and real that it stands out. Plus a good amount of bacon and buttery English muffin all excellent. ( far superior to a fast food option because it's real food) $5.99 I believe was a good deal these days. And ohh that dark roasted coffee, so bold and delicious. Can't beat it. We recently "moved in" to Hyannis to work here for a few weeks at a time. We are staying in a hotel with essentially no ability to cook and a girl can only have bread and cheesy for so many meals before things internally start to go awry. I was hoping for at least ONE decently nutritious option to keep us going during our stretch in the area and I'm so happy we stumbled upon Barnstable Market. I wanted to order us lunch before our orientation at our new gig and I came across this spot on DoorDash. I placed my order the night before and was pleased to be informed they accepted our order about an hour before it was due to arrive. For reasons listed above, I wanted something with some vegetables and greens. This place offers a vegetable sandwich which I jumped on. I ordered the veggie Sammie minus onions and sprouts on rye bread but appreciated the numerous other bread options. GF ordered the same without the omissions and on a spinach wrap. Before even placing the sandwich between my lips, I was floored by how gorgeous the wrap and sandwich was. I would marry this shit, it's so attractive. You know the shit you see on TV and in ads? That is the caliber we are talking here. Without a doubt, the most visually pleasing sandwich I have ever laid my eyes on and you know looks are half the b battle. Believe it or not, the damn sandwich even tasted AMAZING. There were fucking TONS of veggies in that bad boy, they didn't skimp whatsoever. The ingredients were so fresh and whatever the fuck that white cheese-like spread was really was the cherry on top. I am so grateful this place exists I want a to kiss the manager and owner. Excellent selection of provisions including grocery items, gourmet herbs and spices, prepared foods and even beer and wine. There is also a deli with a large assortment of sandwiches. The turkey club I had was tasty although a bit overpriced at $9. Many grocery items were about 20-25% more than what you'd pay at a supermarket and the cheeses were insanely overpriced (IMO, go to Trader Joe's). However, you are paying for some convenience here with the in town location. Better for just picking up a few things than doing all your grocery shopping. Service was friendly and quick. They also have Cape Cod Beer which on a Sunday was great since the brewery was closed. read more

This is a cool spot - a grocery store + wine shop with a small restaurant in the back with some prepared foods and then made-to-order hot/cold subs, pizza, etc. General grocery goods were a bit of a mixed bag - wine was pretty high, and some grocery goods were high, though others were not different than I'd pay in my local grocery store. The sandwiches were solidly good, and service was great. I opted for the reuben, which was quite good. Not a lot of seating, but a few small tables out front that we were able to hang out at. Several days ago I asked the butcher at Barnstable Market if he could custom make some Italian sausages. I knew that their sausages were house made, but I had something different in mind. When I was young my mother used to buy Italian sausages from a local market that were custom-made. My favorites were Italian sausages with green pepper and provolone cheese. I told Rob what I was interested in, and he responded that he could make that type of sausage. I picked up 3 pounds of the sausages today, and the results were absolutely SPECTACULAR!! My wife and I had several tonight. All we could talk about was how much these sausages tasted like the ones that Angelo used to make for us. Six stars!! read more

They make some amazing sandwiches at the deli and have a wide variety of chips and drinks that you can pick from. My personal favorite is the thanksgiving sandwich (served all year round). Ran in after grabbing cofffeed and pastries at nirvana coffeee. Listening to a family sitting outside raving about the breakfast sandwiches, felt the need to try them. Grabbed two bacon egg and cheese English muffin sandwiches for myself and my friend,. They were huge- at least two eggs on each and a good 5-6 slices of bacon! Now I know why the family was raving. There cold eye of the round roast sliced to order is great at a ridiculous low price. Super egg salad. Pizza best around. Baked items a wide variety and fresh pies. Friendly home-town Gomer Pyle look and feel disguises the fact everything cost a small fortune! If you can afford it and live near by, more power to you but they basically cater to law enforcers from the court complex across the street who clearly don't mind paying 4x too much for a scone or sandwich. Wish this market was close to MY house! This place covers all the basic groceries and touristy items, but there are great additions making this one of the best markets on the cape. There's a fine wine section that has a wide variety of varietals and prices, including some already chilled. In last June there was a highlighted section of rose´wines. The fresh vegetable section was terrific and the deli area gets special kudos. They are fresh carving meat and making delicious sandwiches and salads packed to go, making it the perfect spot to stop for all the makings of a picnic! This market is awesome! They have a great selection considering there a small 6a market. But I mostly go for the pizza! RC's uses fresh ingredients and the calzones are off the hook! One of the best pizzas on the cape for sure! read more

We stumbled upon this market accidentally on our travels through the Cape and what a happy discovery! We went in just to explore and ended up coming away with items for an impromptu picnic, including some fabulous in-house made turkey, Boar's Head havarti and a loaf of Massachusetts made whole wheat sourdough. They had a good cheese selection, impressive looking "hot-bar" items, pies and pastries, and many sub/panini selections. But the best part - the prices were very very reasonable, especially for a market of this caliber. read more
