The decor is bright, clean and modern. The shop itself is large, and split into four different sections so even on a Saturday afternoon (their busiest time) it doesn't feel overly crowded. The staff are all very friendly and you are always greeted with a smile. My stylist always talks me through what I want done and offers advice and recommendations. I never feel rushed or forced into anything i'm not sure about. I have had various treatments done, colour, perm, up-do, re-style and i've always been happy with the result. As well as cutting and styling the hair, the stylists can offer advice of styling and caring for your hair. I've often enquired about certain products and they are always frank and un-biased in their responses. Overall Morgan's is a friendly, welcoming salon.

The guy who cuts their hair is really good he always seems to get it right, not too long, and not tooshort, and he must have a magic touch cos they just sit so still for him! As well as all this, they also have copious books on boy-type subjects like Thomas the Tank, Bob the Builder and Postman Pat, and, if you're good, a lolly at the end too. Plus its really cheap. A full head colour and cut and blow dry cost £57. The thing that some other salons do that really annoy me, is they will charge you extra for having your hair blow dried after a colour. A blow dry, at least, should ALWAYS be included in the price. I'll be a regular customer at sasscia from now on and I'll probably try the beauty aspect too.

I had highlights done only to get home and and see that…read moreI still had over an inch of regrowth all through one half of my head, the half that the junior stylist Holly had done. My hair was completely unsightly, I went back to allow them to correct it, but before they did so the manager tried to argue that that's "how highlights should be"... After showing her the huge dark patches it was corrected. When it had originally been done apart from the junior doing half of my colour the junior also attempted my blow dry, It was an absolute mess, I offered to straighten the fringe part for her and she gave me the brush to do so, (To be honest when paying full price the whole process should be carried out by the person that you have booked your appointment with). There was no mention of this being a problem by the owner Irene and to be honest she should have been embarrassed that my hair was such a mess I was having to fix it myself. After my colour had been corrected I decided I had lost faith in them doing the colour and it still wasn't right so I had to dye it back to dark to hide the big patches that had been missed. Even after all this I was willing to let Barbara cut my hair as she is very good, but when i phoned to book the appointment the owner Irene decided to tell me that I wasn't to go back as they didn't feel comfortable doing my hair and falsely accusing me of pulling the hairbrush from the junior Holly, even though I had asked her if she wanted me to fix it myself and she said yes......I feel That Irene and Holly should be completely ashamed of themselves a) for the false allegations of pulling the brush from her hand and b) for allowing this junior Holly who obviously cannot colour or blow dry to make a mess of a clients hair...... I have lots of photographs of the mess my hair was in and am happy to post them.... I would also like to point out that the allegations of pulling the brush have only been mentioned to me since I had to return because of the mess that was made of my colour. I have never given any salon a bad review but the customer being right does not apply to this salon, Irene has a lot to learn regarding customer service... Again I can back up the mess of my hair with photographs I have taken. I should mention that I had used this salon for 6 years before Holly got her hands on my hair and told lies about me pulling the brush from her hand. There are better places in Kirkintilloch to go and thankfully I found that my original stylist Shannon ( who is AMAZING is working at another salon in Kirkintilloch so I shall be going there from now on!!!!
