Great place to pick up a few items and wander around on a beautiful Saturday morning. You can find alot of fresh garden food from sellers. The bad, everyone here literally smokes non stop. The smell is horrible, if your allergic wear a mask. This may not be the place for you to shop. I saw the office staff joining in on the smoke party. Alot of mkts that I sell at will not allow this, if they do there is a smoking section. I saw a seller with a cigarette hanging out his mouth talking to a customer, the lady was backing away from him. They clearly dont care about the customer experience. The CUSTOMER is important at all times, SMH. I arrive at -830am to set up to sell a few items from my business, it was bad experience. I packed up a few hrs later and left. I was asked "why are you leaving so early by another seller"? My answer: THE SMOKE, I failed to research, my clientele doesn't shop here. I will give any place a chance, but you wont get another. I should have known better. Read reviews if you decide to be a vendor at this location. My truth and honest assessment, the establishment isnt professionally operated at all. We are a vendor family and we LOVE this place! John has ALWAYS been fair with us! His top priority is safety not only for the vendors but also the customers as we love our customer families coming to shop! I personally appreciate his extra effort as I am in a wheelchair and have a young son. In my experience this flea market is like a little family of sorts and I've always seen everyone be very welcoming to new vendors joining Folks even try to look out for each other! The restaurant Canteen is run by wonderful folks! They have THE best hot chocolate on the cold days, refreshing delicious lemonade on the hot ones, as well as many yummy eats. They are almost giving the tables away. I can see why. Though traffic has picked up the office and management still isnt good. Their treatment of new vendors at least is something to be desired. The young girl in the office is rude and lies. Now i know why five of their former vendors i know still did not want to return despite the cut rate rentals. This is a nice flea market. They offer enclosed booths for business that want to rent long term and tables for daily rentals. All booth rentals are $15 on Saturday and $12 on Sunday. It's a blast for the collectors. Vintage, affordable jewelry, lots of movies, music cd, a candy store, clean bathrooms! If it rains you stay dry because it's roofed over with concrete floors! Very handicapped accessible. All concrete floor. If you like antiques, thrift stores, discount stores, lots of new stuff! I enjoy this flea market for a change of pace, when I can't make it to the Greer or the Rock Hill locations...vendors are a good bit more expensive at the Lexington location than they are at their sister locations, but all in all, this is a typical, run of the mill flea market...not my first choice, but not my last choice either. read more

This is a real fleamarket. People selling the stuff they dont want. Not bootleg materials.

I like this market because it has more collectibles, housewares and some antiques. You don't see produce and food rotting on stands in the hot sun. The vendors are mostly in covered areas and willing to deal on pricing. The place was not cramped. It was mostly shaded from the sun. I found it overall to be clean. It offered hunting and camping accessories, some craft items and had a good variety of new and used. We will go back. read more

As a place to shop, its a lot of fun to walk around and take in a wide variety of vendors. As a place to vend, its got a pretty awful track history for new vendors. The office is prone to accounting errors, double selling tables, selling tables for the wrong dates, and follows a very strict 'Our way or GTFO' policy, even when they are knowingly in the wrong. Our personal experience involved going in to rent a table. At 11:30 on Sunday, we went in to rent a table for Next Saturday, specifying the date, the fact that we had to get merchandise ready, and being told repeatedly that we had to be here and be set up BY 9am or our table could be resold. So we arrived next Saturday by around 8:45, got set up, I left my wife for the day (Night shift employee, went to get home and get sleep before picking her up), only to get home and be called to come pick her up immediately. Apparently they had resold our table, and claimed our purchase was made for last week. The vendor who showed up at 10 was willing to wait for her to call her ride (Me), while the Barnyard employee told her she had to move her property IMMEDIATELY. That's when she was told by the vendors on either side of her that this had happened to them both at least once before. Infuriated, I returned and spoke with them, and they refused to make any concession of possible mistake until I pointed out the time of purchase for the table and how ridiculous their claim (That we bought a table for the same day when it was already over halfway through) was. Still refusing to admit it was their own error, they at first told me to leave (admittedly I had some choice words), and then told me they could reschedule. We WILL not be going through this crap again, and so, since it was obvious error on their part, a refund was in order. Naturally, this brought up the 'GTFO' portion of the above listed policy. TL;DR Version: Great if you've been there long enough that they know you, crap for new small businesses, and under sloppy and infuriatingly thick skulled management. Vendors beware. read more

Nice variety, but most vendors know what they have making bargains few and far between. This is an enjoyable stop, but not something to make a part of your weekly routine. Quarterly, at best. Most vendors were friendly, with only a sparse few nut jobs. read more
