I ordered a ceviche tostada, and the shrimp pieces were cut way too big. On top of that, it had almost no flavor or seasoning at all. Ceviche is supposed to taste fresh, citrusy, and well-seasoned, but this one was very bland and lacked taste overall. I also ordered a carne asada burrito, and it was mostly filled with white rice. There was barely any carne asada inside compared to the amount of rice they added. Ordered Sweet & Spicy Cameron's Roca ($26.00) Tuna Crispy Bites ($16.00) , and Pork Belly Sliders ($17.00) which was out of stock. These were delivered via Door dash. I was impressed by the huge shrimps and the taste was so delightful! I thought I ordered the fettuccine but I got the rice and broccoli which were fantastic! The tuna crispy bites were like sushi, magnificently prepared. My friends love it! Unfortunately, the pork belly sliders were out of stock and I will make sure I will order that next time to try. This is a hidden gem in Perris. I paid $56.55 for the two orders and I think that is not cheap but I ordered through a third party so there was a service fee of $6.30, tax of $3.26, discounted $1.49 delivery fee and $3.50 tip. The food was fresh and different. The presentation was top-notch, drinks were good, and the food itself was delicious. This is why we kept coming to it. Unfortunately, recently, we've noticed it's gone downhill. Food is clearly not fresh anymore. It tastes different. We used to come here often but have just noticed that too many things are different and corners are being cut not to say anything. Carne asada is no longer tender. The presentation has gone to hell. Frozen shrimp. Tacos are not the same. Alcoholic drinks are watered down dramatically. New menu and a lot of things were removed. Been here several times and the wait time for the food seems to get more ridiculous. I won't be coming back. Ordered the pork belly slides just to get informed 20 minutes later they were out. For our main entree I got a carne asada burrito and my husband the agua chile. After seeing several tables that got there after us get their food we asked the waiters to check on our food, we got the "oh it'll be out soon sorry we have new people". After driving all over Perris this 4th of July weekend while RVing at Perris Lake, I started to give up hope that I'd find a place that wasn't a soulless, strip mall restaurant chain. Until I found this place on Yelp and gave it a try. I'm sooo glad I did!! I was a little worried when I walked in because even though the decor is awesome, it was totally empty on a Saturday afternoon. My worries melted away when I took my first bite of the Chingon Roll. The Camarones Culichi were super cheesy but lacked flavor. The Poke Nachos were great, and the shrimp ceviche tostada was good with just a bit of salt. I went again on 9/1/25 to grab two ceviche tostadas for takeout. The MENU SAID $7 each, but I was CHARGED $9 each--$2 MORE THAN EXPECTED for each. I pointed it out, and the server told me prices had gone up but the menu wasn't updated. I said they had to honor the listed price (Senate Bill (SB) 478 THE PRICE ADVERTISED TO THE CONSUMER MUST BE THE FULL PRICE THAT THE CONSUMER IS REQUIRED TO PAY), and things got tense. It never fails, regardless of who your server is, and regardless of what you request. Barra Azul was recommended to me and, since I was in the area, I decided to stop by for a late lunch. This is located on Ramona Expressway in Perris, just the far south end of Moreno Valley. I'm so glad we stopped by because our tastebuds were in for a treat. Our server, Claudia, welcomed us in and sat us down with complimentary tortilla chips and salsa. The salsa was good but had too much heat for me. The tortilla, however, tasted slightly burnt so it was a bit off-putting. Our virgin Pepino con Limón (Cucumber with Lemon) margaritas made its way to the table and it was refreshing and delicious! They have a pretty big menu and I ordered what was recommended to me, as well as what I thought was interesting. Here's a list of what we ordered: * Poke Nachos - I was confused when this came out thinking it wasn't my order. I expected a spread of wonton chips with cubes of ahi tuna and the other fixings; instead, to my surprise, it came out as three towers of wonton chip on the bottom, a sriracha-mayo imitation crab mix above that, with avocado, cuts of tuna topped with fried onion crispies and a drizzle of sriracha-mayo and eel sauce. It was delicious! * Surf & Turf Taco - Look no further, this is all you need! Succulent shrimp and flavorful pieces of carne asada topped with crunchy cabbage, and drizzled with a magic sauce! I am salivating just thinking about how unctuous and savory this was! I thought this was the best thing I ordered from Barra Azul! The size of this taco could be entire entree. I shared this with my party and they loved it too! * Fried Fish Taco - Excellent but the tomatoes or the pico de gallo on top had too much heat! * Shrimp Taco - Really good but was overshadowed by the delicious Surf & Turf Taco! * Asada Taco - Again, this was also really good but, because we tried the Surf & Turf Taco first, this just didn't hit the same way. It was still good on its own but not as great as the S&T Taco. * Pork Belly Sliders - This came as a recommended item but we had no room to devour this. The portions of the previous items were generous enough so this went in to-go containers. This had really great flavor but the pork belly was a bit tough. * Street Style Shrimp Ceviche - This was enjoyed at home since we were full from everything. It came with 4 tostadas, mayo and hot sauce packets. I think it was fine without the packets. The price wasn't too bad. We paid $85 even for everything before taxes. That's roughly $20-$30 per person with it without the drinks. Overall, I was impressed with the Surf & Turf Taco. It blew all the other dishes away. The portions were generous as well and our server was kind and knowledgeable. I loved the mural inside the restaurant and the bright open space. I can definitely see my self back here to enjoy round 2 of my favorite S&T Taco - and perhaps another menu item I haven't tried yet! I recommend Barra Azul if you're in the area! read more

Not sure where to start with this one. We didn't check the reviews because my son had a game that was nearby, and we were just looking for something close to the park that wasn't fast food. Not many options in this area sadly. Got seated in 5 minutes, which was the only highlight of our dining experience. 7:50p we ordered our apps, and 8:09p we ordered our food. We didn't get our food until 9p. Looks like the server went to break without putting our order in. My wife left and we had to take her food to go because she didn't want to wait any longer. Had to ask for refills which we never received after being there for 45minutes. The manager thought we were a charity case, and tried to comp our whole check. I made sure they gave us a bill because we finally still got our food, which most of it we had to take home. He never came to apologize, and thought his best solution was to offer us free food. He needs training. Also, tell your server not to speak Spanish to people who obviously can't understand what she is saying. I had to ask her 4 times what she was saying, and she finally spoke English to tell us what dish she was trying to explain to us. Steak fajitas were so oily and greasy. This place is sad.
