We were craving mariscos and didn't feel like driving down to Perris to our usual spot, so we opted for this restaurant that's closer to us. They were playing music, not too loud so that you can have a conversation with the people you're with. Our server was great! She had a smile on her face the whole time and was really friendly. The longastino we ordered was good, however, the mixed ceviche we ordered was kind of lacking. We felt like it had more veg and imitation crab than anything else. The food was delicious!! I've been craving a good authentic molcajete (5 months pregnant craving) , so we had a family dinner here from looking at the photos on yelp . We walked in and were surprised that it wasn't busy but that was better for us because I was starving so that meant we would get are food faster . The prices were also pretty good!! My son order the butter shrimp plate , both dishes came with rice and beans . The molcajete we ordered was perfect for two people and the tortillas were yummy aswell. Visited Mariscos El Karman on a whim for dinner on a Thursday night with my family. Wasn't sure what to expect, it was located in an older strip mall and was really unassuming from the outside. We were seated right away by the server. He was nice overall and was really attentive to our table. The menu itself is large and there are tons of menu items onto order. This place of course focuses on cold/hot seafood but there are other beef, chicken, and pork dishes on the menu as well. My wife and I ordered the Molcajete that came with shrimp, chicken, Asada, and chorizo. It also had a full jalapeño and cactus. The food was great and we ate the whole thing, for sure big enough for two or if you're really hungry. The inside of the restaurant was clean and pretty nice. We decided to try Mariscos El Karman for the first time and it was AMAZING! Customer service was OUTSTANDING and the atmosphere very inviting, nothing but good vibes. Then the food came, the seafood was so fresh and DELICIOUS! You have to try the chile de aceite it was spicy and went perfectly with our meal. We will definitely be back! Customer service and the chips and salsa made up for the lackluster food. We were in the area for Costco and wanted some oysters. Those were fine but the rest of the food was a big no. I ordered the shrimp enchilada plate and the rice and beans were greasy. The salsa verde was super sour. It made my stomach hurt. Now the caldo de pescado was the WORST. The veggies were spongy. Like they were frozen or something prior. You bit into the potato and the zucchini and the texture was off. Boiled potato should not be spongy it should be soft. I usually don't like to leave negative reviews but they really messed up my order. I was in communication with them to place a catering order for 20-25 people . I even call a day prior to confirm the order . When the day came to pick up my order #1 it wasn't ready #2 they were not aware of the price they quoted me . I was in communication with 2 ladies one from the restaurant which also gave me a cell phone number to text (believe the manager/owner). Well the manager texted me my order was ready . When my manger got there to pick up she told me the order was not ready & that they weren't aware the quote . Keep in mind we had our staff waiting this whole time for the food . That's why we had scheduled pick up time at 11am we didn't get our food till 11:25 . And to top it the food was not enough for 20-25 people !!!!
