The staff are very helpful and the shoes are all reasonably prices. Also, and very importantly, they don't spend 10 minute trying to sell you shoe cleaners and shoe protectors that you don't want or need. If you're after a no-nonsense shoe shop with helpful staff and a good selection then this is the place that you are looking for!

I have had leather boots from here that have lasted a good 2 to 3 years. They have been hard wearing and comfortable. I have also bought sensible work shoes from here that haven't cost much, but have lasted. The staff are friendly and don't harass you while you are looking, but are very helpful if you need help. Other shops should take a leaf out of their book.
