Every teacher here is informed, kind, and encouraging. The owner is also super sweet. Excited to make this part of my routine.

This place has exceeded my expectations. I used to take barre classes regularly in SF but had never…read moretried Pure Barre before. Wowza, they really kick your butt! Each class is different and I am left sweating and feeling good at the end of each one. It's definitely a great workout. All of the instructors I've tried are great but Kristen is my favorite so far. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and they have a lot of regular members. No egos or competitive spirit here, which I appreciate. There is a large parking lot but it's easy to miss your turn if you're not familiar with the area. There are cubbies to store your stuff and hair ties, Luna bars, and water provided. The intro unlimited membership is $99 per month, which is a great deal and then it goes up to $159 I believe. You also have to let them know in advance if you want to cancel; otherwise, you'll be locked in for another 3 months. Their app is super easy to use, they have clothes and socks for sale, if you need them. My one minor complaint is that there isn't a clock in the room, so I never know if they're done kicking my butt haha.

Julia did a wonderful job demonstrating the exercises and making sure everyone's form was proper to get the most of each exercise. There was plenty of street and garage parking. I enjoyed the class and had a really good workout.

What a great first time at Bar Method!!!…read more It's the new year and I've said for YEARS that I need to either join a yoga studio or go back to a bar class. I currently go to a gym but let's face it...I am getting up there in age and I can't be squatting jumping and pivoting like the young peeps anymore. They have three different themes (my current gym) so I'm only going to the strength focused classes. I need something else additional. I knew there was a barre studio near me so site unseen, I signed up for a small package online. Hahaha! When ya know..ya know, ya know? (Ha!) Like my first time at a barre class 9 years ago, I was slightly petrified. I'll be the new girl...who's 9 ft tall...who's not flexible at all. I knew I would stick out like a purple unicorn in a zoo (omg lol my description is hilarious so let's go with it) but honestly I am so determined to do more for myself and health I just had to breathe through that fear and I'm glad I did. Walked into a BEAUTIFUL space and was greeted. The instructor and the receptionist were both nice. They showed me the ropes and into class I went. The class was so good and just what I needed. Fast, efficient and brutal. Those 2 lbs weights start to feel like 10 lbs quickly. There are lockers, locker room and tons of merchandise. Beautiful and clean and calm space!! If you are looking to try it, just close your eyes, buy the class and GO! Your muscles and mental health will thank you later!

I have been eyeing this place for awhile., At first, I went on their website to buy a Pilates 101…read moregroup class. Thinking it's the same as everywhere else. Take the 101. To see how you like it.. However, they do things differently. I received a phone call from Melissa whose an instructor and an operation manager. She wanted to let me know the policy to Cure Pilates as a new customer is to take 4 private one on one with their instructors. So they can access what level you're at. And for you to understand the foundation of Pilates before you join in the group class. At least that's what I got from our conversation. Attended my 1st one on one with Melissa right on my birthday. I must admit. I needed these private classes. I have no glue. Melissa help me understand the movements. Help me fix some of the problems I'm having. Like my shoulder and lower back. I'm in soo much pain from sitting at the salon all day. She was very patient and once she notice I'm sweating. She turns on the fan. I'm looking forward to attending the rest of the one on one. And hopefully join in with the group. However, it's really not a bad idea to continue to take the private class once the trial period is over with
