What a joke they did not communicate with me daily that is a out and out lie , I ended up sleeping…read morein a gas station because they would not call up the insurance company and find out where my check was. As I stated in a prior review I myself called up the insurance company and had my check sent to me overnight, which they could have done just as easily but just would not simply pick up the phone and call the insurance company and find out why it was late I was just told to wait wait wait and wait 27 days I believe it was. I was threatened with the police if I didn't leave my motel room so I had no other choice and at about 68 years old I had to sleep in a gas station bathroom. So I fired them. And was told and made a deal and arrangement with Steve malign or Sean Vargas I'm not sure which of them made the deal. And whoever it was I spoke to one of the two owners Steve or Sean advised me that if it didn't work out with my new lawyer to give them a call back, And that same person agreed that it was ridiculous that just a phone call wasn't made and they apologized to me which is when the statement was made if the new lawyer doesn't work out give me a call implying he would obviously take my case back. Well that was a lie, he never had any intentions of taking my case back in my opinion and just wanted me to remove the bad review, and in return he BROKE HIS WORD ! He used the excuse that my case was not able to move forward because Workmens Comp would want the money they spent from my personal injury settlement, which they had already gotten their money $30,000 .So that was either a lie or an excuse either way it was not correct , I actually sustained further injuries due to favoring my left hip now my right hip is almost as bad as my left which the insurance company has no idea about yet, they requested a new qme and that will show from that evaluation. So literally everything he says is not true and his answer to my prior review. I wouldn't trust this Law group for any reason and as far as returning phone calls what a joke lawyers are freaking lazy bums and they only want to work on cases they're going to make a lot of money from . I literally wasn't even treated for my injuries, so nothing he says is truthful or correct he doesn't even know the situation but he makes up plenty of excuses. I don't recommend them for anything .I am an American Indian and I highly suspect discrimination may have been a key factor in him refusing to take back my case ,as he insinuated he would do . I think Steven is a cold hearted individual and has no compassion,and can not be trusted,he literally apologized for his assistants behavior and said he fully understood why I was upset and fired them . It seems many lawyers only want to work on cases that make them money and when they're good and ready to work on them and until then you can just wait. Update: It makes no difference what excuses he will make ,he took responsibility assumed accountability and apologize for the behavior of their office. And when all was said and done he did not have the Integrity or the honor to assume his responsibility for inviting me to return to them if it did not work out and did nothing but make excuses as you see him doing here, he's not even aware that I was never properly treated not from the very beginning so my case has literally not even started yet. I'm the outlier though ! Hilarious ! He just don't see the dollar signs in my eyes, he's even went as far as to have me send him the qme report and the final report from the treating medical facility, On top of telling me he would take my case back if it didn't work out with my new lawyer if that doesn't doesn't show his intentions and I don't know what would convince you. I understand if I'm correct in the California bar association is correct he used to be a judge, if that's true I pity all the people that had to be judged by him. Each time I request to speak directly with my assigned attorney, I am told they are unavailable and am instead redirected to a case manager. Over the course of my case, I have been passed between three to four different case managers, none of whom have consistently provided updates or followed through with communication. I am never proactively contacted--every update has required me to call repeatedly and advocate for myself. On multiple occasions, when I have called and insisted on speaking with my attorney, I have either been disconnected or transferred to someone unfamiliar with my case, who simply states that they are "working on it." This lack of continuity and accountability has made an already stressful situation even more frustrating. A few months ago, a newly assigned case manager informed me without any prior discussion with my attorney that I had received a settlement offer and should accept it because "I am not going to get any better." This statement was not only inappropriate but also dismissive of my condition and circumstances. When I declined the offer and again requested to speak with my attorney, I was told a callback would be arranged. Three weeks passed with no communication whatsoever. I am shocked and disheartened by the way I have been treated. Managing this injury has already required significant personal sacrifice, including lost wages, travel to medical appointments, and arranging childcare. On top of that, I am dealing with workplace challenges, yet I am unable to receive even basic guidance or communication from my own legal representation.
