So I read several different attorney reviews and I noticed when reading Mr. G's that several people had mentioned that he didn't over charge them and how he was easy to work with when it came to payments (on certain types of cases). That was important since I'm not made of money. But what stood out to me the most was how polite he was when responding to the few bad reviews he had received. First of all there is always going to be somebody that isn't happy, but he was very kind when he responded to them. Most of the time people don't even acknowledge the bad reviews so I appreciated the fact that he did. Anyhow my experience with him turned out to be BETTER then I had expected it would. He is easy to reach, quick to respond, takes action immediately, which left me feeling confident. In the end I came out on top. The amount of money he saved me was much more than his fee, so it was a win win situation. I am so HAPPY I chose Mr. Gee to represent me and I encourage you to do the same if you're looking for a lawyer that is trustworthy, kind, easy to work with, go-getter. YOU WONT REGRET IT!

We filed our…read moretaxes in March but 'Tax & Bookkeeping Services' didn't submit them (unbeknownst to us) to the IRS until October causing us to accrue a late penalty! Worst part of it is, we cannot reach anytime at 'Tax & Bookkeeping Services' to address the obvious error on their part and in spite of having left several messages, no one will return our calls. TERRIBLE service, do yourself a favor and find a more competent accountant! Side note: for two years in a row she's spelled my first name wrong on my return in spite of having copies of my ID and W2s with the correct spelling. We hired Blackwell, at a flat-rate, in-order to help us deal with a property management company that had leased a house out to us, knowing full well that the house was infested with brown recluses, among other issues. We had an entomologist, a mold-inspection company, a house inspector, and an exterminator ready to come in and represent us in court, and we easily had a legitimate case. The problem, unfortunately, is that Blackwell is near impossible to get a hold of, and his secretary consistently lies. I don't know if it's because she's his barrier against clients that he's not interested in talking to, or if she's just flat-out lazy/incompetent, but in the 3-4 months that we had him on retainer, we maybe managed a grand-total of 5 times to talk to him. During the last week before our final court case, we finally managed to get him on the phone, when we had been asking for a meeting to make sure everything was finalized for over a month, and he makes the revelation that he hasn't sent a single subpoena out! And then, he blamed us for not giving him the addresses! The guy basically avoided us every chance he could get, and was apparently too lazy to do any research himself, and then had the actual gall to make it out as if it was our faults that he is essentially a terrible lawyer. We ended up settling with the property management company, and we dropped our case in return for them dropping their counter-case and eviction proceedings. Not exactly what I would call a satisfactory route, when we initially had such a strong case to go in with. But that's not why I am writing this review... this is now around a year after the case, and I'm looking to settle into a more permanent home again; problem is... turns out that the eviction was never dropped, and is still showing up on my credit rating, so I keep getting declined. Tried calling Blackwell, for over a week now, trying to get him to E-Mail me a copy of the court decisions, which he promised me he would have done right after the case, but never did. I was hoping for this, so that I can avoid having to call the courthouse and deal with their bureaucracy. I have called 27 times, since April 19th, all during normal business hours, and his secretary has picked up the phone a grand-total of 3 times. I've even left a voicemail, and yet I haven't gotten a return phone-call from Blackwell yet, even though his secretary said he would. What really infuriates me, is that during the first phone call where I was describing who I was, and why I needed a copy of the relevant paperwork, she made the bizarre lie that she was new there - the name was the same, the raspy voice was the same, and I still can't wrap my head around why she would possibly make such a compulsive lie. Of course, that lie was proceeding her others, where she keeps giving me times to get in-touch with Blackwell, yet the few times she's picked up the phone, she keeps making excuses like he's out of town. If you're going to bs me, at least keep your stories straight, y'know? Maybe Blackwell is a decent lawyer if he has to fight for his money, but when it comes to paying him a flat-rate... he seems more than willing to acknowledge that he only has to put in minimal work since he already has his money. I recommend avoiding, if even remotely possible.
