I have had donuts from here before but have never visited the location. Stopped in and they have a pretty good selection. Donuts are fresh and I ordered a cup of coffee as well. Pretty good and the fraction of the prices of the coffee chain that is in the same plaza. Service was quick and they do have tables in doors if you want to dine in. Plenty of parking in the lot so stop on and give them a try. read more

I do not recommend this place at all. They overcharge you for everything. I stopped in just to get a cup of coffee and you have to pay their service fee to use your ATM card and I understand this is a typical practice with businesses but they're free was ridiculous. Once I was served my coffee and I asked for some French vanilla cream to put in it, they charge extra for the cream as well. By the time I paid their service fee, and additional cost for cream, I should've went to Starbucks. I almost paid yesterday as much for a cuppa coffee. I try to support local, family owned businesses but consumers shouldn't have to pay for all the overhead it cost for them to run and operate their business. I guess I'm just old school American. You used to be able to get a cuppa coffee and the cream and sugar was offered with the coffee. I guess it's a new day! Lol. read more

Oftentimes crowded with day laborers and such, everyone seems to enjoy each other's company over some coffee and sugary pastry du jour. I'm usually in and out, picking up quick picks & scratchers, or on the rare occasion where I indulge on a diet-busting fried dough of pleasure. A few tables to rest your rump for a little bit. I see Hawaiian Gardens is stepping it up around here with all new shops and restaurants..honestly, I don't think the city is as bad as they say it is or it has shaped up a little? Or maybe the city has been cleaned up a little, my point is, I did not feel unsafe. I see there is a a Lee's Sandwich shop nearby, a few cute clothing stores, Walmart, to name a few, even a large Starbucks. Back to my donut review..yeah I was making a deposit at The Bank of America at nearby and saw a sign for donuts..Mmm mm mm I want some! I initially only wanted 3 bars but when I was told the price(under 2 dollars) I got a few more and ended up with a half a dozen. They are sweet, fresh and tasted delicious. Service was great, the man who helped me was very nice as well. They sell lottery here too. Place was clean and there is plenty of parking. read more

Beware: Do not redeem scratchers here. They will try to cheat you. I would rate with zero stars if I had the option to. Today I went to redeem a scratcher for a $200 prize. The man behind the counter (middle aged Vietnamese ethnicity with a heavy accent) did not count the money in front of me and tried to distract me with chatter. When I counted the money myself, I was short $100. When my husband brought this to the man's attention, he showed us that he had ripped the ticket in half and said, "I gave you the money." My husband explained that we were short a hundred dollars. Ultimately he gave us the correct amount, but the whole situation seemed very shady. I doubt we are the only ones who have been conned by this man. This establishment has been reported to the California Lottery for investigation. read more

Nice quick donut shop that you can get in and out of in a short amount of time. Prices are reasonable but in the time I have in the morning, I care more about the quickness and quality of the donuts they have available. I just watch the parking lot in front, if there are many work trucks, I just go to another shop close to my work. If there are no industrial type vehicles, I get in and out in a jiffy. This is is solid donut experience, in the tradition of the 1950's. You really can't go too far wrong with anything they have here, though you won't find anything exotic, avant-garde, or nouvelle in any way. Set yourself up with a nice chocolate covered cake donut, a cruller like they make in the old country, or a nice jelly-filled. If you had a grandparent who took you for donuts on Saturday mornings back when you were a kid, you can relive the experience here. The donuts are great but I have been treated bad on multiple occasions. I don't like using the race card but maybe they don't like blacks people, at least the female workers don't. When I visit this place I am usually greeted and then the person behind me gets served first. The first time I thought it was an honest mistake but it has literally happened at least 5 additional times with the most recent being last Saturday. This past Saturday I was greeted when I walked in and the lady was helping a customer in front of me. Then this Mexican guy walks in and didn't feel like waiting in line so he moved in front of the customer in front of me. The other worker from the back came out and gave him a donut and coffee. She tried to be sneaky by getting his donut from the back instead of from the ones on display because then I would see her. I asked her why she did that and she said what they always say, "Sorry". The guy said "sorry" too. I am very friendly and approachable. One time I gave the worker $10 for my purchase worth $3.50 and she gave me $16.00 back. I was nice enough to correct her and not steal the money. The guy worker is very sweet all the time and it has never happened with him. I just will never go back. The females workers always say "sorry" and cater to the Mexican guys who are always sitting in there all morning. I am hard to miss. Im always the only black person in there so I know they're not sorry. They'll never get another dime from me again. read more

Over the years my husband has stopped here when we visit the area. He has shared how good the donuts are. I finally got to try them as well. He LOVES donuts - and I love an excellent donut and won't eat it (the calories!) unless it is excellent. 5 stars for the apple fritter - not greasy, as they often are; and the apple and cinnamon proportions were just right. The donut part was perfect - light and wonderful. This is what I had and ate every bite. My husband had a cream filled donut - 2 stars at most. (Maybe it was a day old?) Donut part was dry and he did not care for the filling at all. He also had a cinnamon twist that was excellent. 5 stars The man who waited on us was very pleasant and patient as we made our selections. 5 stars No ambiance there - but . . that's OK - you can find lots of places you like to eat your donut! Donuts are my weakness. I am very particular about them but my friends and I had a random craving for some good donuts & this place was great! The donuts were soft, the guy at the front was friendly. The only thing that would be considered a slight "drawback" is the fact that they charge extra for apple fritters and cinnamon rolls, but it's probably because the size is huge.
