The part of my sandwich I didn't order or eat. Sprouts, avocado, Russian dressing.

We came at 5 o'clock on a Friday. It was amazing that we got seated immediately. We beat the crowd! Yay! I came with my daughter and son-in-law for dinner. I had a turkey sandwich with cheddar cheese and it was very good. there was a lot of turkey. They ordered latkes, matzoh ball soup, and two dinners. The food came quickly and everybody enjoyed their meals. They got very busy while we were there. It's a really popular restaurant. Which com a lot of food.

Katella Bakery has my fav carrot cake and I picked up a slice over the weekend for a sweet treat. It's incredibly moist and I love that it has raisins and coconut. Super delicious, great cream cheese frosting, and the perfect amount of spice. They also have such an amazing variety of other cakes, pastries, cookies, and much more. I have to come back and try more because everything looked soooo good. It can get a bit crowded on the weekends but the line moves pretty fast. You just grab a number ticket and wait for it to be called. I love the system because it gives you time to look around and see what you want. Also, I did see that they had the viral dot cakes I'm not a sprinkle person so I didn't try it out. But for all my other Yelpers who are looking for the dot cakes in OC, this is the spot!

Food: Monte Cristo Sandwich this is not your normal sandwich it seems like it was deep fried and it could use more powdered sugar and a little bit of syrup, potato salad a little gritty. Randees double pleasure pastrami n corned beef pretty good.other sandwich we have all good.Coffee very nice, bakery lots of good stuff. Service: was very good Ambiance: it is very good vibes The con: pricey for what you get and a little dry. Parking was a little hard to find.

The hosts and are server were nice and polite. However after dining in for the the third time I will confidently recommend the bakery and not the dine in experience. It was a busy Saturday for lunch but the kitchen moves slow. They forgot some details of my order such as the chicken I requested to be added to the matzo ball soup, and my bread was forgotten. We also ordered the corned beef and Rueben sandwiches. From the time we ordered to the food arriving at our table was about 50 minutes. Unless the meats are currently roasting, being cooked or prepared this was too long in my opinion as these are sandwiches and one matzo ball soup that was ordered. Were the sandwiches good? Yes but I enjoyed the sides more - the cole slaw and potato salad. Let this be your warning that if you choose to dine in service and kitchen food prep may be slow.

Everything here that I tried was excellent. Denver omelette was good but I should've added cheese as I don't think there was any. Veggie omelette was really good and cheesy. They didn't have white toast so I got sourdough. Loved it. The drinks were pretty darn tasty. The water was good too. The pancakes are out of this world. Overall the service was top notch. The vibe is cool. I look forward to trying more of the menu in the near future. Thank you

A beautiful tres leches cake to celebrate Father's Day. Enjoying a relaxing day with loved ones. What more could you ask for? Even my fur babies have been on their best behavior. Life is good. Speaking of good, the tres leches cake was delicious. I love deserts that are not overly sweet and as Goldilocks would say, this one was just right. The cake was very moist and flavorful. The berries help to provide a tangy balance to perk up the taste buds between the bites of cake. An excellent Father's Day treat to wind up the weekend.

I was having my car serviced nearby, so I met up here with my wife for dinner. I really enjoyed their "special" sandwich, which had pastrami, coleslaw, and russian dressing. Had it with a side of potato salad, which was a nice complement to the heavy sandwich. Wife got their chicken pot pie, which was had a delicious crust. Wife would have liked it to have a little more filling; however, it was pretty enjoyable. Their bakery is pretty good as they serve plenty of classic cakes and cookies. I've had their flavored bagel chips gifted to my office on several occasions and they're good, but it would be nice to have suggested dip/flavor pairings for them, that could offer their customers more interesting depth to the delicious snack. Anyway - for our dinner at the deli, service was on the slow, which made a casual dinner after a long day feel very, very long; however, I'd come back to satisfy cravings for pastrami.

Everything went well! Day or night it will always hit the spot. Good food, nice service and nice spot for family dining or date night. This time I didn't have any food pictures, just went all beef tonight. Beef stroganoff with pappardelle pasta, button mushrooms and dollop of sour cream to round up the sauce. Also a favourite was the homemade meat loaf.

This is an amazing bakery/restaurant/deli/bar. The food is great, the pastries are amazing and the drinks are well crafted! A must hit spot for a meal whenever Im in the area

Delicious bagels (to enjoy with their lox!)

Good service as always. Hubby loves their fried chicken. It takes longer to prepare but is juicy even with the crunchy coating. I tried something different this time- the steak sandwich. It was just okay, though the meat was cooked medium as ordered it was thin and a bit hard to chew. The aioli was tasty though and the ciabatta bread outstanding! I could eat an entire loaf of that. Their entire bakery, of course, is incredible. For the first time I can remember they had tiny samples of cake. Delish!

This is a beautiful restaurant but it's so confusing. We walked in and asked for help, and they were helpful in explaining the different counters. You order coffee somewhere and then baked goods in another area. There's a deli and a restaurant and then goods in a market. However, everything is super spread out and confusing. We pulled a ticket for the bakery and ordered some items, including a bagel. Apparently they don't toast the bagel but didn't tell us that. Weird. We got some cookies and they were good. We ordered a coffee from a different counter. I had the Katella latte and it was good. I wanted to get a pastrami sandwich but it seemed as if no one was working in the deli and I couldn't tell if I had to sit at the restaurant to order it or could get it at the counter. There were people and lines everywhere so we just went outside and enjoyed our cookies and coffee. It's a pretty space, but needs way more signage and organization.

Love this place! The sandwiches are excellent. My favorites are the Pastrami and corned beef on fresh rye bread. Delicious! I also get a loaf of the seedless rye - which is amazing. Service though is very slow as molasses.

This place has gone downhill. The corned beef used to be great, now it's fatty and stringy and overpriced. I won't be going back.
