Assisted Living: First of all its an assisted living place for the elderly. They have two churches basically in their parking lot so residents get to walk to their church if they so please. My grandparents also tell me that they are always doing events at the church which sounds fun. Condos: So, not all of this is assisted living. There is a Condo/Duplex type situation where you can have your own home and front yard which is quite nice. The back yard has a nice porch and is connected through a large field to the rest of the property and a running/walking trail. They have a lot of cool features as being a part of the condo. If they need assistance, they have a whole staff that comes into the condos to help people, but only if you need it. Also, they have their own lawn services, so they never have to mow their own lawn again, which they enjoy. All around its great, they even have a gate that allows people in and out, plus a strick move in policy for older seniors only.

Communicating with anyone there is an absolute nightmare. No one knows what's going on and one knows how to do their job. This goes for the director and Brynlee the 'social worker' as well. The staff will leave their patients to lay in their own mess for hours before cleaning it up. They are very dismissive of their patients needs and concerns. It's a disgusting and vile place to be. I can't imagine how bad it is for people there who don't have any family to advocate for them and speak up. The place is ran like a circus and they treat their patients in the skilled nursing area like dirt.

This is now Colonial Oaks Memory Care of Tulsa. It is HORRIFIC. The new management brought in 6…read moremonths ago doesn't give two penny's about resident care or employee satisfaction. we had to move my mom with an emergency move because they were so grossly negligent! They didn't change her, got up set when she get up on her own and fall- she just needed changed or to go the bathroom! She suffered multiple head injuries. They did not give her meds on schedule. They frequently go weeks without an RN on staff (illegal) because they either get fired or quit due to poor working conditions. We had to sit with her around the clock near the end of her time there, and with US ASKING meds weren't given as ordered, she wasn't changed in a timely manner, and she wasn't rotated in bed in a timely manner- causing her to develop a Stage 3 decubitus ulcer on her coccyx. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE! I wouldn't even send my worse enemy here! I have opened a DHS case so they are finally held accountable.
