I lived in the tristate area until I was 25 years old but somehow missed out. During the first half of the football game I kept seeing fans walking back to their seats with a container that looked like it could be ice cream. Halftime arrived and my friend and I went to grab some snacks. There it was, the Austin's sales booth. They had several options to choose from such as butter pecan, vanilla and my choice, chocolate brownie. So glad I picked this one as it was delicious! The chocolate was smooth and creamy. And who can resist hunks of brownie? Not me;) If you are in the surrounding Ceredo area and you have not tried Austin's yet, get in your car and head on over. You will not be disappointed!

It's been a few years since I've been in as I now live 4.5 hours away compared to 2.5, but was in the area on Wednesday. I had stopped in and browsed but finally tried the ice cream. I had a Wookies n Cream shake and my wife had a BB Cake cone. The punny names work well with the shop and the flavors were good. The only strike was the straw for the shake was an Icee straw vs a regular one. Staff was friendly and prices were very fair from toys & comics. Definitely a place I try to visit when I'm in the area.

The Shakery is a cool "Mom & Pops" eater with a plethora of sweet treats. There is a place to stand and order outside, a drive thru, outside seating and indoor seating. You will see people of all ages. It's really nostalgic. The environment is nice & clean. Staff is friendly and I must say they did an excellent job for as busy as they were. There sweet treats vary from classic shakes to "blizzard-like" shakes, sundaes, specialty shakes, banana splits & slushies. I chose a peanut butter shake which was so creamy and full of peanut butter flavor. SO GOOD!!!!!! Perfect consistency for dipping my French fries in. Yea...I'm one of those lol. Scarlett chose a cherry slushie. You will get your sweet treats before your food. I ordered a hamburger and she got a kids grilled cheese and fries. The kids portion is a full size cheese sandwich btw. We enjoyed our time at the Shakery. The food is made to Order so don't expect drive-thru mentality. It's worth the wait I promise.
