Hands down, the best chiropractic care I have ever had. I felt immediate relief. Recently after playing 18 holes on the golf course followed by playing tennis with my younger cousin, I felt a sudden and severe pain along with spasm in my lower back. I spent the rest of the evening horizontal in bed unable to sleep. In the morning, I went to my family doctor who gave me anti-inflammatory drugs. They did not help. My family doctor then referred me to an orthopedic surgeon who referred me for an MRI. When the results came back, he recommended disc surgery for a ruptured disc. I quickly opted out of the surgery option. The surgeon then referred me to physical therapy. That did not help. The physical therapist then referred me to Dr. Daniel Batchelor, a chiropractor in Roswell. The last time I had been to a chiropractor was when I was a teenager in San Diego many moons ago. I had injured my neck several different times during skateboarding falls and after a few treatments the chiropractor had fixed me. Bottom line- greatest doc ever!!. After moving here recently and trying a myriad of chiropractors to no avail, I finally found Dr. Batchelor. My landscaper introduced me to Dr. Batchelor so I decided to give it a shot. The good doc took the time to problem solve my condition which had been causing pain into my right leg for over a year. No other doctor had a clue on how to help me. Doc Batchelor spent about 35 minutes examining me and then treated me with chiropractic, physiotherapy and decompression therapy. When I walked into the clinic, I was all bent over to the left and had pain down my right leg. When I walked out of the clinic, I was walking straight and had no pain in my leg or back. What a relief. I would definitely recommend for anyone having back pain, to let Dr. Batchelor handle your care. I had wasted a lot of time and money going to other doctors. Dr. Batchelor has a caring attitude, he was able to help me after i tried many other doctors and to top it off, all I had was a $10 copay since he is a member of my ppo insurance program. Dr. Batchelor has always been there when I've needed him. He's rescued me from some wicked pains in the past and I've had the entire gamut of injuries. When I wrestled in high school, Dr Batchelor fixed my neck after an opponent twisted my neck bone out of position. The joint locked and I thought I was going to die from the intense pain. The doc fixed that in one visit. Another time, I was snow skiing and fell, twisting my lower back out of wack. Dr B was there for me and brought my lower back, back to life. The most recent injury is from bending over to dead lift a heavy weight at the gym. I heard a clunk in my right pelvis which immediately caused a shooting pain into my right leg and calf. Dr B was my hero once again and put the lower back bone back into its normal position. Yes, I praise Dr B for all that he has done. 1st visit today. Staff was super friendly. They were able to provide me with an appointment the same day that I called, which I totally appreciate because I was in a heap of pain. Dr. Batchelor was AWESOME! He took the time to take a complete assessment of the situation and then he explained to me exactly why I'm experiencing the lower back pain. He showed me the x-ray and pointed out how things should be aligned and where I'm out of whack. From there he did a few more assessments and treatments. By the end of the treatment session, I could already tell the difference and felt dramatically better when I left than I did when I came in. I'm looking forward to the new completely pain-free me. Fees were reasonable, the place was clean, I didn't have to wait long, the staff was pleasant, the doctor was caring, the treatment was not painful, the care was effective. I wouldn't change a thing. Best Doc in Atlanta. On Sunday of this week, I threw my back out playing basketball with my kids. When I turned to shoot, I felt a click in my lower back. After that I spent the remainder of the day in bed. One of my buddies told me about his chiropractor who is open on Sundays. I decided to give it a shot. The doc found a lower vertebra pinching on one of the large nerves that travels into my leg. That was the nerve pain I was feeling. From lower back all the way to my foot. After some decompression which felt really good, I could feel some relief. After the electrical therapy, I was feeling even better and then after he adjusted my lower back, I was feeling terrific. I was able to walk with no pain the rest of the day and actually thought about playing basketball again that night but I decided to follow doctors orders and stay grounded for the next 3 days. I was very pleased with the care that I received from Dr. Batchelor. My back has felt the best its felt since my college days. Now, I'm able to play golf without an apprehensive golf swing. Before Dr. Dan treated me, I was unable to follow thru on my golf swing without feeling like my back was going to buckle from pain. My sleeping has also improved since the the pain does not wake me at night any longer. I'm doing the exercises that he gave me and my core is feeling much more solid and stable.
