I met Shayna Gorman (Office Manager) at the Dia de Muertos Festival and she was very attentive and provided me with information on their services. I made an appointment to see Dr. Sharon Gorman and from day one I have been treated very nice by both ladies. Dr. Gorman it's super attentive, she makes me feel welcomed every time and addresses my concerns right away. It is very refreshing finding the support and attention I have been looking for at their office. On my first visit Dr Jamie Foster spent a lot of time going over the philosophies of the practice, taking x-rays and discussing what I wanted to accomplish by integrating chiropractic into my wellness plans. He made me feel very comfortable and discussed my concerns without making me feel talked down to. On my second visit, we reviewed my x-rays and discussed the chiropractic plan that would be best for me. I'm fortunate enough that insurance covers part of it, but for the remaining amount they have several payment options. It is really tailored to accommodate just about anyone's budget. Since I've been seeing Dr Jamie, my back and hips have been feeling much better! It is very easy to get appointment times that fit with my schedule and the staff has been very accommodating when my schedule changes and I need to adjust when I can come in. Gorman Chiropractic is a family run business with the sweetest family, the Gorman's. Dr. Gorman is so nice and will really work with you in getting you fit and having a healthy spine. I would highly recommend this chiropractor! She and her daughter Shayna walk you through everything. Even children are welcomed and encouraged, and they have smaller tables specifically for them. I am a veteran chiropractic user and it was the worst chiropractic experience of my life. I went with my daughter and she actually injured both of us. I couldn't get out of bed for a week and I am still in pain thanks to her. I told that to her office and they didn't seem to care. I am currently seeking medical treatment and help for it. My daughter had been in a car accident and we actually were trying to visit a chiropractor that no longer worked at her office. We were not told that until we were already at the appointment. I was taken aback by almost everything that transpired. For example, I took her xrays to another chiropractor I know and trust (but moved far from us and doesn t do accident cases hence the reason we didn t see him initially) that told me they were one of the worst and most unprofessional xrays he had ever seen. They were not properly developed, not labeled right or left, showed zippers on my daughters blouse and metal studs on her jeans obscuring the xrays and was advised they could be questioned as valid by the insurance company. I was also told that I did not need nor did my daughter a lengthy treatment plan as she had recommended. They show no consideration for your time. She made us sit through over an hour infomercial/lecture on the benefits of chiropractic like how it cures or prevents cancer. She also insists every patient hug her after an adjustment which is creepy and bizarre. I was also upset by other elements of her practice and what I consider hypocrisy like lecturing us on wellness when she and her family (several of whom work there) are very heavy including her. I wonder if her weight was the cause of our injuries. I got the impression her office was shady. The office manager told me there would be no charge for the visit ( I was using an introductory coupon for free xrays and treatment which I have since read you should never go to a chiropractor that uses them) and then charged me. She later said she would refund me but it took several emails to make that happen read more
