They encouraged me to try out the new brand of contacts they prescribed before ordering -- it was nice to not be pressured into buying glasses or contacts on the spot. When I was ready to order, I called back and was very pleased with the gentleman helping me place my order. My new contacts shipped to my door within a week. I first came to definitive vision after pain in my eye led me to seek optometry care that was near my work. They were able to get me in right away in an emergency appointmen. When I met with Dr. Heiss, she was quick to tell me what was wrong with my eye and offered solutions to help. She gave me some eye wipes to trial which worked wonderfully. I then came back for my annual eye exam at a different location and everyone was helpful. I like that it's a smaller place, but it's certainly more expensive than anywhere I've been in the past, so that's kind of a bummer. I love the eyeglass selection, they're very stylish and unique. This year, I decided to take my favorite frames and put updated lenses in them, I love that that's an option. I'd recommend coming here, because it feels like a posh boutique and everyone is helpful and friendly, but the cost might be a bit prohibitive for people. Or maybe that's just my eye insurance!

My daughter had broken her glasses right after we moved here, and we stopped in about an appointment. Our "one year" between glasses was bout six months out and mailing the glasses to our old office to be sent off for repair and then mailed back to us was not an option. However, they were able to switch her lenses into an older pair of the same frame and refit them to our daughter to suffice until the new year. We went back this week for our exam and had another great experience. Dr Patty was very patient and thorough with our daughter; and in turn, our daughter was comfortable and at ease during her exam. On both days a nurse was rude, condescending and insulting. On the second day I asked for a different nurse because she was so rude the day before.Two receptionists said I was given conflicting information. One receptionists TOLD the offensive nurse that I was given wrong information. I was verbally insulted by this nurse. Mocked by the same nurse. I spoke up & defended myself. I received a letter, unsigned, that I was dismissed as a patient. I asked twice to speak to the office manger, she refused to speak to me. It's poor office communication, poor office management & homophobia. The nurse was rude to me because of homophobia. I felt like I was in the movie Deer Hunter, when the Vietcong soldier kept slapping Jon Voight.

I had ordered a new pair that the lenses weren't quite right on my distance bifocal. Within 6 days, I had the new pair exchanged. WOW. I'm 66, and I think it's the best eyesight I've had in at least 13 years!! I'll be back next year for a 2nd pair, too! To be able to see as I drive, and yet have the ability to read print in the same eyeglass pair has been a true gift for me! I went to Costco and could see the aisles and read expiration dates on the jars for once!
