The owner was warm and welcoming, even giving the girls a sweet birthday treat and personally showing our group of 7 around, introducing the cats and answering any questions. The volunteer was also friendly and clearly passionate about the animals. The space was cozy and thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of areas for the cats to play, climb, or rest. All the cats appeared happy, healthy, and well cared for! As for the entrance fee--It's absolutely worth it for the love and effort this small business puts into the cat's wellbeing. The arrangement arrived and it was wildly different that what I'd originally ordered - see the picture of what I thought I ordered vs what was delivered. I called the shop to ask if there had been a mistake, and was told that they didn't have the flowers pictured online, so they made a different arrangement at a comparable price. I guess that might have been okay -- if you'd called me to ask?? I spent nearly $100 on an arrangement that was supposed to have a particular meaning for my friend, and they just made a substitution without informing me. If I hadn't called to follow up after my friend sent me the picture of what she received, I wouldn't have even known! Not the kind of service I am used to. I have ordered from local flower shops remotely before and they have always contacted me about any changes or substitutions different from what was advertised and paid for online. What if the person receiving the flowers had a specific allergy?? Just not acceptable. I will not use them again if I need to order in this area.
