Due to it being the holidays, shopping isn't complete without stopping at Bath and Bodyworks. I went in for the wallflower plug-ins and ended up purchasing candles and body lotion as well. The store was a bit crowded, but it was to be expected. All of the associates are very friendly and helpful. Although the checkout line was long, they move the line along very quickly. Placed an order online at 8am and waited until 4:30 to arrive at the store for it to be closed. Closed all day with no information. Called all day the next day and no answer. Unprofessional. Some things never change. I am still a sucker for candles. I want to smell every scent and in every size (a three wick will have a slightly different aroma than a single wick). And when the seasons change, it's time to start all over. I frequent here for the single wick candles because I like to have two scents at a time. Whether it's apple or pumpkin or pine, they have you covered. The team is always quick to offer assistance (and a bag to carry stuff). The location is prime and parking is a plenty. I don't do many chains but this one, this one I'll support. Plus I hear they have nice lotions and soaps. read more

I have shopped in Bath and Body works for several years but they steadily declined as far as their products go. They stopped carrying the C.O. Bigelow brand. It was a skincare line and it worked wonders on my skin. I was a person with sensitive skin and suffered from acne and these products were gentle and effective enough to rid my skin of its problems. I got several compliments on my skin when I used this line. Most people thought I was wearing a full face of makeup because my skin was so supple and flawless. Then, Bath and Body Works discontinued many of the fragrances I like like Fresh Pineapple and the Summer collection like Frozen Daiquiri and Pina Colada. Now I can hardly find a scent that I like. The last time I came in and a employee suggested a scent it smelled of sweet plastic and that definitely nothing I want to smell like, so I stopped shopping here for those reasons. But I will say that they do have great sales when they have them. I would stock up for months with those products and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Hopefully, Bath and Body Works go back to their original formulas and bring some of the best selling brands, I will start to shop with them again. I will come in from time to time to check and see if their formulas have started to smell great again. If not I will just leave out empty handed!!! I love cosmetics and I love to smell good so these products are a must to me and I will continue to buy them but not here if they still have to same mundane scents and formulas!!! read more

You talk about sales and clearances this place is always jumping with sales and many products for men also.I came here to get a gift card for a friend and end spending almost $75.00 on myself but due me,Mr. Coupon I had this great coupon that came in the mail that made my $75.00 turn into $35.00! Great selections on hand lotions,body wash, hand sanitizers and many men products. The staff is on point and will help you spend more but show you how to save when you do because I was about to loose out until I got to the checkout and she said"get 2 more of those cause they will be free!" That was until my husband walked over and stood next to me. She changed her tone and wouldn't even look at me in the eyes anymore when she saw the color of his skin. if it smells good, I'm here for it. I have my favorites here and they are mostly in the Aromatherapy line. The patchouli, the stress relief, sensual line. Love them. I miss the sage scent that was apart of the aromatherapy line. I think it was called Comfort. The candles are nice too but I like to wait for a sale to buy them. Coupons help. One tip: if your scent was discontinued but pretty popular you can order them online in the retired fragrances. My favorite retired scent is Sea Island Cotton and Brown Sugar and Fig. I hate that I can't get Dancing Waters. Hubby and I both used it because it had a great unisex scent. During the holidays I love to pick up stocking stuffers for my coworkers. Lip balm, hand sanitizers, lotions and hand creams. Don't get me started on Wallflowers. I had stopped using them for years because they evaporate so quickly and some scents are hit and miss when it comes to the throw. You might get a nice whiff the first day and then nothing after that. Some scents are better than others and I try and keep a list of the ones that pack a punch. The employees are helpful and friendly but I am quite guilty of making most of my purchase online. Awkward experience... I walked in the door and one of the employees on the floor not only watched me walk in, she did not acknowledge me at all, looked me in the face and continued her conversation with her Co worker. I was not welcomed and as I walked through the store looking over everything and smelling the testers, no one asked if I needed assistance or anything. The cashier at least asked how I was doing as I cashed out and she's the only reason I gave the 2 stars. Maybe greeting and assisting customers is a thing of the past. read more

I like this Bath & Body Works store better than the Augusta Mall location. This location has friendly staff and they are very well aware of the layout of the store. I like that the store is not large, but it's not a small store. It's enough space to browse and not get overwhelmed. I like to get room sprays and hand location. I usually don't buy body wash because of all of the fragrances. The room sprays are my favorite because they keep a room smelling great for a while. Additionally, this store has great parking. There is so many spaces because it is in a plaza with other businesses that don't have as much traffic as the Bath & Body Works. Overall, I'll continue to visit, but the Augusta Mall location is currently undergoing a renovation, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that turns out. read more

I frequently visit and for the past 2 years I have been asking about the In the Sun Fragrance. It is no longer being sold and unlike most fragrances it is not listed as a retired fragrance infact it is like i never existed at all. I am always told at the beach is similar its not and I don't care that isn't the one I ask about. I have filles out the form to get it brought back as well as chatted with many online associates. At this point I am just disappointed. read more

Store is clean and sales people are friendly and helpful. Sad that so many of the fragrances now are synthetic and the scents are no longer tru nor do they last. Fun place for fragrances for teenagers but if you are scent sensitive or can't handle synthetic fragrances avoid this place at all costs. read more
