I recall thinking that it was a local store because hey, I was living on an island and the name of the store includes a tropical fruit. So I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was actually just one of many stores in the U.S.! This Papaya Clothing store is located near Macy's on the 2nd floor of the Mall of Georgia. It's a clothing and accessories store geared towards teenage girls and women under 30. They always have a sale and/or clearance rack towards the back of the store, right the by the fitting rooms. That's usually where I head straight towards whenever I shop there. Papaya stores usually have a good selection of fairly priced dresses that are fit for a night out. Although the quality of their clothing in general isn't great, I can often find a pretty nice dress for less than $20, which is great compared to dresses at department stores. The main drawback is that ALL dress sales are FINAL, so they can't be returned or exchanged for any reason. Obviously, this is to prevent ladies from buying a dress, wearing it out one night, and then returning it after one use. When they have sales, you can get some dresses and nice tops for $15 or less! Earlier this week, I saw that they were selling some tank tops for $4 to $5 each. Overall, this Papaya Clothing store gets 4 stars for their decent, affordable clothing and accessories. They usually have a good selection of merchandise to choose from, and they are always marking down the prices of their older items to make room for newer fashions. Don't come here expecting high-quality products because their items are lower-quality and, therefore, affordable. They carry an entire stock of the items they carry and never have empty shelves. Finding what she is looking for is always easy. The checkout lines can get busy, but they do move and the cashiers have always been friendly and helpful on each visit. The Kohl's Cash rewards program is a nice feature and keeps Kohl's as an option when looking at running to Kohl's for an item or ordering from Amazon. I understand the expiration date on your Kohl's Cash but wish they stayed active slightly longer. Returns have always been an easy process when items do not fit properly. During the pandemic when dressing rooms were closed, we never had any issues with making a return. The dressing rooms are now back open and my wife and the few times I have used them have found them to be well maintained, private, and secure.
