Ok, so I'm Transgender and I understand that there will be people that are uncomfortable and unaware of how to address a Trans Female, but really!? When you walk into a store and the Head Associate doesn't greet you, then proceeds to walk right past you and greet two other women who came in behind you and strike up a conversation, it's poor customer service, embarrassing and just plain rude. I nearly walked out without making my purchase, but another Associate saved the day and asked if I needed any help finding what I was looking for. Thank you young Lady!! Your Manager could take a hint. Maybe I'm being too sensitive, but this Trans girl speaks loud and clear with her wallet. PS - I emailed B & B corporate offices about the ordeal and apparently, with no response from them at all, B & B takes the stance of poor customer service about as seriously as gender inequality, which is, they don't care. Wow. If this store were representative of my company, I would want to know about it. I will be contacting corporate. Today, I walked into this store and was on the receiving end of literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced here in Lincoln. Nobody greeted me upon entry even though there were three employees in store that I could see and there were only three total customers including me. And even after walking around a bit and right by all three employees - I was still not acknowledged. Nobody said a word until I was ready to check out about 10 minutes later. That's when I finally got the "I can check you out over here" by the person I presume was the manager. During the transaction, I was told I couldn't use the coupon I had (for a free item) on candles. Perplexed, I told her the coupon didn't say anything about a restriction on candles. She took the coupon to read the fine print (which IMO she should already know) and when she couldn't find the word "candles" looked up at me perplexed but repeated that she couldn't apply it to the candle. I asked her to try anyway, and she said that she knew it would work if she scanned it but refused anyway. In chimes the customer to the left of me checking out who says that this coupon is for items "not on sale". Mind blowing that the manager/employees didn't know that. And yes, after reading the fine print myself, the very first line says the item must be full price. Literally, everything was on sale in the store so I asked if she could direct me to something that wasn't on sale. She just stated and repeated "bar soaps". She didn't come around the counter or walk around the store suggesting items like I watched her do with the other customer who was checking out with another employee. Apparently, I was not worthy of such treatment. So, I walked the store searching for something on my own. Meanwhile, I watched another customer who witnessed this whole transaction leave without making a purchase. I got my lotion and used my coupon and left. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS STORE. Here's the thing: This is a store that NOBODY needs to shop in to survive. This is a store that people go to because they either have the money to burn or because they got a gift card and like the products. If you don't treat customers like you need them, they will stop coming. For anyone who LOVES Bath & Body Works and likes to be treated the way customers should be treated, GO TO THE GRETNA BATH & BODY. I have been to the Gretna location multiple times and been treated like VIP every single time even when it was super busy. It's worth the trip. Trust me. read more

So excited to go to the mall and spend a $100 gift cert I received for B&BW today and blow it all on Halloween stuff. The store was not busy. There were two other customers at any time that I was in there but no one could be bothered to help me. I said several times within ear shot of the staff that I needed some help. Really just wanted to know about the sales and coupons and such. Nothing! No one greeted me when I came in the store. I guess I will spend my gift cert online. Probably won't be going back to this store. We stood there for at least ten minutes waiting and finally walked out. You lost one of your best customers today B&BW. read more
