The price wasn't listed at first, but the associate looked it up on the computer and the price he estimated to its actual cost was only a $10 difference so I couldn't leave it behind. What I have found is if you ever receive the surprise emails from Kate Spade and then take a chance and come into the store, the prices may be cheaper here in the store than on the actual email. This was the case on a particular visit because the store was offering an additional discount off the already discounted price which in turn made it even cheaper. The store is always clean and almost ocd organized so finding what you do and don not need is very easy. You never have to look far for assistance as there is an associate at every turn to give assistance and even tell you the actual rice you would end up paying. Do yourself a favor and visit the very back of the store, pre fitting room because there is a shelving unit that has items that have additional mark down on them. The trick is if you do purchase something from this super secret mark down section, you only have 14 days to return it, which is not always disclosed at checkout. Experience taught me that! That's the only real con, everything is a pro for sure!

So I lug this big box while pushing a double wide umbrella stroller packed with 15 month old twins to the register (neither two of the employees I passed asked to help, not that I'm not able bodied and couldn't handle my task, but it would have been a nice gesture). When I tried to use my coupon I was told that I had to wait 24 hours to use it (it expires in 48). I immediately got upset. I admit I was having a rough day to begin with, amplified by two impatient tots, the lack of assistance I received, the time and energy I had invested in this dumb coupon and finally being told my efforts were useless after following the direction of an associate. I just sternly threw a tantrum and said "Fine! I'll just load the kids up and get it cheaper elsewhere!". I was that customer. Yeah. The jerk. The lady behind the counter, her name was Angie, without missing a beat, apologized to me for the confusion and said not to worry and that she would "hook me up". This woman didn't bat an eye at my childish behavior. She went right to the solution. I don't know what she did that saved me 20%, but she made it happen. She offered to help me get my box and kids to my car. Gave me a coupon for a binky that I forgot and had to go back and get. The point is, this woman turned my entire day around. She went out of her way to make my day better and had no idea the impact she was having on me. She could have just let me walk out while calling me names under her breath. But she didn't. And she wasn't even that "I'm sarcastically smiling and being nice to you because if I'm not I'll lose my job" nice to me. She was 100% cool to me. I don't care if it cost more to go to BuyBuyBaby than to shop on Amazon, I'll gladly pay more to be treated the way I was today. Thank you Angie. Keep on being awesome. You're going places.

I was shocked when the lady said that the bill was for $60, which was $30 for each battery. I also bought a brilliant jewelry cleaner that was $24.95. I looked online when I got home and Amazon had it for $7.95!!! The lady who replaced the batteries was very sweet and pleasant, and she did change the time on one of my watches and cleaned the back plate, but wow that was expensive!
