Still 5 stars in my opinion. I just always have a great shopping experience every time I go. Stopped by today to re-up on my hand soaps because theirs are my favorite of all time. I got one of their wallflower plugs as well. They are taking safety precautions because of covid. All the staff were wearing masks and they also have disposable masks in the front for customers in case you aren't wearing one (which you should be btw). But I think companies having disposable masks on hand is great because not everyone has gotten into the habit of wearing one. This way you have no excuse and can shop in the store. I picked up several bottles of Bath & Body Works hand soap here in various colors to match the color schemes of three different bathrooms. While I found what I was looking for color-wise - the Bath & Body Works soaps will have to remain a short-term solution. I have communicated to them in the past that they need to offer hand soap refills - so that you don't have to keep buying these tiny bottles over and over. However, they don't appear to be interested in this feedback. They have ignored the e-mail I sent to their corporate office suggesting they offer large refill bottles. I guess I need to take Cynthia R's previous recommendation on hand soaps. The four stars are for the quality of the soaps only - I like the way they feel and smell. read more

Went this evening to buy the product that I called about and was told they had. Once I got in store Never greeted I had to hunt a staff member who seemed as though I was bothering her..Her cell conversation was much more Important..So I will drive out of my way to the Other location just to feel like I'm not a bother. Was very disappointed by the sour attitudes of the employees at this location. Definitely the worst employees at any location I've ever been to. Pretty sure they teach employees to be friendly and welcoming these employees give you side eyes and are more focused on their phone. Was greeted with a sarcastic attitude for no reason when I didn't even say anything other than hello to the employee. I love Bath & Body Works and this store in Manassas VA, it hands down had the best customer service associate out of any store I've been in. Her name was Tionne and she was fantastic, knowledgeable, super friendly, honest, and just great customer service all around. I appreciate someone who really knows the product in the store and not just selling the most popular item or the item on sale. She answered questions about male scents and products, searched to verify they were truly sold out in one of the items, she assisted with facial masks, car fresheners, and a few other things. The young lady at the register was friendly as well even though I didn't get her name. Customer service is one of the most important things when shopping and this location nailed it. This is a reliable location. Nine times out of ten I can find what I'm looking for. The people are nice and helpful. The parking is good.

I'm a regular customer at this location and for the most part my experiences here have been positive. The store is a standard strip mall location and it does a good job suiting my needs. The store is well organized, clean and I never have trouble finding what I need. The selection is good and they keep my favorite scents in stock. The staff is just okay. I've come to expect a high level of customer service from BBW and I feel that sometimes this store comes up short in this area. Maybe it's because I'm a guy, but that shouldn't be a reason to not provide a high level of service. If you're a regular shopper at BBW like me, it's critical to be on their mail and email lists so you can receive the many money saving coupons they distribute. I have been a fan of BBW for many years. Until today. I found out this business is NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau, they don't stand behind what their employees tell customers, and they are unfriendly and insincere when you have a problem with their products. Much of this new attitude stems from the new return policy instituted a few weeks ago. Their slogan is 100% guaranteed, return anything at any time if you're not happy. Well, that didn't hold true today. Their wallflower plugs tend to stop working after a few months of use. I would never continue buying them nor the refills if it wasn't for the ability to exchange the plug when it stops working. Why would I? They are expensive and if they only work a short time, it's not worth it. In July I heard about the new policy and I specifically asked about the plugs. I was told I would be okay. The new policy targeted folks who use up half a bottle and then say they didn't like it. That's fair. So today I drove over to request my exchange. I don't know why they aren't made to last, and now that I know they won't honor their guarantee, I won't be going back. The initial salesperson was insincere and just kept repeating herself. I finally had to be a Karen and ask for the manager. The manager was also rather insincere and pretty much just told me to buy a new one. Um okay, not helpful. I really don't think this new policy should extend to non functioning products, but they acted like I'm trying to get away with something! I left the store without an apology and called customer service. Another joke, I discovered. The person on the phone just thanked me for my feedback (no help offered) and gave me another number to call. I did call and waited 20 minutes before hanging up. No one answered. I'm surprised and super disappointed at BBW. Thought they were legit but ends up they are just out to make sales and could care less about the customer. I hope people read this and don't get fooled by the "down home" cozy atmosphere -- it all an illusion! read more

Somebody might want to teach the manager on how to politely talk to a customer here! I wanted to use a coupon but she gave me an attitude like like I was robbing them or something! Wow!
