The stars of show are the scented candles, diffusers, and candelabras. What I like is that the description on the label is what the candle smells like! No vague or bizarre description that makes no sense. When you open the lid on the jar the aroma envelops your nose and it smells exactly like what on the label. Granted, it's a little more expensive than what you might find in a big box store, or discount place, but you get what you pay for; a quality product at a relatively inexpensive price. Especially when they have it on sale, certain times of the year. There are candle holders and candelabras of various designs; something every taste.

During my experience, I got to experience their private candle making session. During this time, my scent Sherpa guided me through the art and science of picking scents and combining for balance and desired outcome. I loved the experience so much, I ended up blending a custom diffuser scent as well for my home office! The session took about thirty minutes and was ready to pick up 90 minutes later - just enough time for me to enjoy browsing the shops and having an afternoon snack in Cold Springs. Mundane's products are aligned with the pricing of other shops in Cold Springs with the value add of their quality materials and commitment to remaining carcinogen free. I was then told I would have to pay return shipping myself. Their return policy says the customer is responsible--but that's buried in fine print. It's unfair and feels like a way to push responsibility onto the buyer even when the company is at fault. It's also something you want to touch, look at, and determine if that's what you want. There is merchandise that doesn't need to be in stock to be purchased. For example: a bathroom scale. A picture of it with a description: price, dimensions, weight, maximum weight capacity, that's all you need to know, if that's what you want. It's not just Bed Bath & Beyond that's gone this route, all the other stores up here have followed suit.
