They deliver throughout MANY towns in the SF Bay Area and beyond. This is the best food delivery service EVER and it is ORGANIC and vegetarian, eco-friendly, and a reasonable price! We just started this service and love the food so much and the owner, Toni, is fantastic! Having received a degree from New College of California in Culture, Ecology and Sustainable Community, Toni has extensive knowledge about sustainability, local agriculture, and community-building, all of which have inspired the creation of Three Potato Four. You can get a loaf of fresh baked bread AND FLOWERS, to boot! They also have a kids menu that is fun and healthy! Toni used to be a nanny, so she knows what kids like! Go to the website and see for yourself the procedure (she drops the meals off once a week, pre-cooked for you to just heat up in your oven) Just take a look at the rotating menu we had from this week: Entrees Fettuccine with Brussels Sprouts, Brown Butter and Toasted Walnuts (V) (semolina fettuccine, brussels sprouts, red onion, walnuts, garlic, butter, fresh herbs, parmesan) Tempeh with Clementines and Cabernet Citrus Sauce (V) (tempeh, red swiss chard, tamari, maple syrup, cabernet sauvignon, lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, garlic, butter, clementine tangerines, herbs and spices) Thai Vegetable Curry with Tofu (V) (carrots, zucchini, broccoli, onions, vegetable stock, red bell pepper, tomatoes, peanuts, flour, coconut, basil, garlic, lemon, green chile paste, peanut oil, ginger) Adzuki Beans with Brown Basmati Rice and Squash (V) (brown basmati rice, adzuki beans, winter squash, onion, carrot, tamari, scallions, kelp, sesame oil, sesame seeds, parsley) Side Dishes Cauliflower with Hazelnuts and Brown Butter (V) (cauliflower, hazelnuts, butter, lemon, chives) Neapolitan String Beans (V) (green beans, tomatoes, basil, garlic, red pepper flakes, basil, olive oil) Soup Celery Root Bisque with Thyme (V) (celery root, potato, vegetable stock, celery, shallots, cream, butter, thyme) Salad Arugula, Endive, Apple and Gorgonzola Salad (V) (arugula, endive, apple, gorgonzola, chianti, red wine vinegar, fresh rosemary, garlic, olive oil, sugar, chives) Dessert Pear Cranberry Forever Upside Down Cake (pears, flour, eggs, milk, brown sugar, milk, butter, cranberries, baking powder, spices) Yum, yum, yum, is what my 1 year old says about their food!

On Tuesday it arrives on the doorstep, filled with entrees for my other half and myself. The food is delicious. It is also inventive and nicely arranged. I will tell you this much: I had never actually enjoyed eating a portobella mushroom until last Wednesday. I am greatly looking forward to what will arrive this week. Whatever it is, I know it will be all of the following: 1) delectable 2) vegetarian and 3) not cooked by me, a fact which automatically elevates it somewhat, because I cannot even prepare rice without the assistance of a special appliance. Futhermore, when stacked up against the cost of buying organic everything to make dinners at home, $90 for eight healthy-sized servings is equal to or less than what we'd have spent on the effing ingredients at Rainbow, let alone the travel time and effort involved in hauling ass to the store. Heat and eat! It's a revolution! No, really. If you're stressed for time (my other half), hate to cook (myself), or just lazy (both of us, occasionally), Three Potato Four will make your life that much easier. Even Martha Stewart, queen of doing all things for oneself with flair and finesse, would call hiring Three Potato Four a good thing. Go on now. You'll thank me.
