We have been taking our dogs to Heather (Bath & Bubbles) for many years. She groomed our poodle mix till she passed and Heather now grooms our standard poodle. Both dogs are happy to see her, my current poodle smiles a lot at her (really, he smiles when he's overjoyed, it's funny). We have had no problems. I feel the price is worth the excellent work she does. I have recommended several friends and they are all regular clients now. read more

My Maltese mix has bender had a problem getting groomed. I take him in on a Saturday and they said they needed to hold him for 4 hours. I com back they didn't cut him the way I wanted and he smelled. My dog doesn't smell after a bath. Also I noticed none of the groomers friendly with the dogs they were grooming. From the time I entered the building the dogs that were in the other room would not stop barking at all. When I asked if anything had happened the owner said no. When I picked him up he was acting very nervous. I asked the owner again and she said no. When I mentioned to her that she he was groomed in a way that I didn't want him to and that he smelled. She dismissed me and said I was imagining things. I didn't leave a tip and she gave me a nasty attitude. The worst part was his behavior after coming home. He was skittish and very jump about loud noises when that was not the case before. He was eating and drinking less and exhibiting other self soothing behaviors that dogs have. After a week he was fine. Something definitely happened while he was there and the owner didn't care at all. I've never experienced anything like this at another groomer. It's been a couple of months but to this day my dog refuses to let anyone groom him and we never had a problem before. The owner needs to shut the place down and stop serving dogs if she doesn't care about them. read more

I took my Himalayan cat to them. She had mats on her belly & wouldn't let me touch her belly. As we were talking I asked her if she could give her a short cut. Well! When I picked her up I didn't recognize her! She was so cute! She looked like a little lion which was adorable. Best $80.00 I ever spent! read more

Grooming has been good, but professionalism is lacking. Shop seems very disorganized. Upon leaving dog for groom last time, I was told price went from 63 to 75! No prior warning. It was too late to change my mind at that point so I left my baby. After questionning the new price weeks later, I was told they hadn't had an increase in 5 years and that they would not negotiate the price down at all. I'm going to a new groomer. read more

I took my a border collie to Bath and Bubbles to get groomed. He loves being groomed, going to the vet or anywhere he knows he will get attention from people. As required, I gave the groomer my phone number and my sisters (a backup) so I can be reached to pick him up. I was given a time that she was hoping to get my dog done by but she wasn't sure. When she finished she not only did not contact me but instead she called my sister. My husband picked my dog up so I didn't get to inspect him as I usually do and depending on the way my dog is treated and groomed depends on the size tip the groomer gets. My dog was cut so close to his skin that his chest is cut and bloody and I also have to worry about him getting a sunburn and infection. I would not recommend this groomer to anyone read more

I have taken my pets (dogs and cats) to Bath and Bubbles for years. My Schnauzer (before I lost him) just loved Heather and the personal care she provided him. Currently, my Dachshund begins yelping with excitement whenever we pull into the parking lot. He loves his time at the "spa". Heather has also taken care of my long haired cats who get matted from time to time. She is always tender with them and continues to give me pointers to help them remain un-matted. I have highly recommended her to several of my friends and feel confident she will treat their pets with the same care as mine. read more

I have taken my dog here a few times, he's a 10 year old toy poodle mix so he needs to be groomed pretty regularly. He's never been a fan of baths or grooming in general, but he really seems to like this place! The owner is very friendly, and from the way my dog responds to her, I can tell she treats him gently. We have tried several groomers over the years and experienced the spectrum of results, from disappointing to satisfactory based on my customer service experience, the way my dog was treated, the grooming itself, etc. Compared to all of the facilities we've tried, Bath and Bubbles is our absolute favorite! I would give this groomer zero stars but it is not an option. I really wish I could show you the photos of the RAZOR BURN that Heather, his groomer at Bath and Bubbles, left on my poor puppy. My puppy has razor burns all of his buttocks, tail, belly and legs from his grooming. He could barely walk for a day because he was so uncomfortable from his burns. He laid in his crate and didn't want to play. I took him to our vet the next day and they were appalled at the amount of razor burn on my poor baby. The vet had to give him a steroid shot and burn cream to treat his burns. Heather refused to pay for my vet bills. Please do not send your poor puppy to Bath and Bubbles in Amelia! read more

We take both our dogs here for their nails.. Heather is great with our Lab and Pug.. she knows just how to do our pug's nails.. One of the "BIG" pet store/groomers had refused to do our pugs nails cause he wouldn't calm down.. He is fine with Heather, we are glad she is there... and no appointments needed for nails ! read more

As much as I hate negativity in my life, I had to post this. My 10-pound cock-a-poo, has a very nervous personality and hates to be groomed, as do a lot of dogs. About a year ago I took her to BATH & BUBBLES to get her groomed. but the owner had a problem with her because she was too fidgety. I understood, even though I think it is a part of groomer's job to deal with all personalities, not just well-behaved dogs that love to have grooming shears on their bodies and be poked and prodded by a stranger. Anyway, regrettably, I called BATH & BUBBLES again this week because I got a sedative to relax Minnie and thought I would try BATH AND BUBBLES again. I spoke with the owner and was SHOCKED AT HOW SHE REACTED TO ME: this is what was said: I told her I wanted to get Minnie groomed and that Minnie was there previously, but the owner could not groom her because she was too fidgety. Before I had a chance to tell her that I had gotten a sedative for her, the owner SCREAMED over the phone to me: " IF I REFUSED HER ONCE WHAT MAKES YOU THINK I WOULD CHANGE MY MIND AND PUT MY LIFE AT RISK TO TRY TO GROOM HER AGAIN?" I told her that Minnie is a small dog and she is not putting her life at risk, she is just a nervous dog, not mean! And before I could tell her I had a sedative for her, the owner of BATH & BUBBLES said "YOU KNOW WHAT, FORGET IT, I DON'T WANT YOUR BUSINESS" and then she hung up on me!!!!! I was stunned and could not believe what had just happened! Absolutely unacceptable for anyone to treat anyone else in such a rude, unprofessional manner. I would like to post negative stars, but that was not an option. :( read more
