Bath Magic/uglytub.com was a terrible experience. The technician called about being late then gave me a whole litany of things to do to my bathroom and to our son bedroom. Which I did. Only to have him show up and freak out about some ceiling work in our living room we were having done. Even though the rooms he was going to be working in were closed off and sterilized for him. He wanted to mansplain to me about his company. I asked if he wanted to do the job and he said that I need to reschedule. So I did and they were supposed to be here today at 11:00. When they didn't show I called them again. There was a total mix up and the owner instead of hustling to get someone out here to do the job wanted to argue, yell at me, and even started crying about her office problems. I told her that I would go somewhere else. It was truly a horrible experience and very unprofessional. read more

Steve from bath magic started working on my tub, I walked into my kitchen and water was pouring out of my ceiling. I ran up and told him and he said yeah. Didn't care. I shut off the water to the bathtub. He didn't even look at it until I called the company. No empathy, no anything. Not even a discount. I cleaned out the drain the next day, full of white pieces of paint he was rinsing down the drain ,which was clogging due to my hair also in the drain. It is not smooth on my tub, there are bumps under the paint,he left a mess on the floor that I had to sweep up ,and I took pictures of all of it. Worst job I ever saw and would not recommend. No show on 12/19/22. Called them on 12/19,12/20,12/21,12/22 to no avail. 12/23 recieved a call with excuses of everyone being sick and they called me the day before to cancel which is a lie, no one called me to cancel or called until 12/23 I have left several messages with no call back. Searched my call log no calls from Bath Magic, Checked voicemail, no messages from Bath Magic. Just own up to what occurred and take responsibility for it. I lost time and money waiting on this company and they can say is you must didn't check your voicemail. I'm Done. read more

A very poor job of finishing. Bottom of shower stall has swirl mark patterns all over and holes were not filled. The person that did the work would have been fired in any body shop.. Paint/ Finish was OK other than having to see all the marks left on the bottom.. I cannot, nor would not recommend them at all. I did contact Bath Magic to tell them there was a problem. Anthony came out a second time for a quickie fix and we ended up with runs, more burs & pits. I run several rental property businesses that would have used their service again and informed Anthony from Bath Magic of that the first time he came out. I took photos the first time which was rather hard on a white tub and also the second time. It is really hard to make time for a third visit, when you are responsible for running your own businesses and small children. There should be no reason for a third visit. This is the second time that we have used bath magic to reglaze our tub. I was kind of satisfied the first time but extremely content this time. The technician, Jeremy Myers, just finished reglazing our bathtub and did an amazing job. He is a true professional in every sense of the term. We love it! Horrible customer service tech showed up 5 days late to tell me he didn't have enough Supplys and would be back Sunday. Sunday rolled around and he still didn't show up. When he finnaly showed up he said he would do it for cash on the side which he did and then was supposed to come back to finish more and never showed up. So I called the office and the lady working was so rude and hung up on me because she said I tried to get the tech to do it on the side which is the complete opposite. I was surprised to see the negative reviews left for this company. I had a tub reglazed from them a few years back and its still looks good. It was an old green color and they made it white. I was recently in touch with them because I was having some trouble finding the cleaner I've always used. They were very helpful and even emailed some other cleaners they recommend. read more

May 3, 2016 we had Bath Magic come out and glaze our tile and tub in a Mexican sand color. They were suppose to caulk our tub yet the tech stated the color did not look right and he would try and look for a color close to that color. After several calls back and forth to him, it was clear he was too busy to come and finish the job. By this time two spots of the glaze just came right off when wiping with a wet cloth. I finally called the office and he came out to touch up the spots and had no idea why the glaze came off. He then left a small amount of touch up I case it happened again. Still no caulking to match the tub. It took several calls back and forth with the office manage and president who were very disrespectful and showed no concern that the product they advertise is really not explained correctly. Thy had no color close to the glaze used. I ended up hanging up on the president because he questioned why I haven't been looking for the caulking in that shade. The office manager did come through on the caulking in July finally. Since this episode, we had a painter paint our ceiling and put tape on the tile while edging. The glaze came right off !! We tried to use the touch up paint which is a shade or two darker now. We also noticed several more spots appear where the glaze is just coming off. My husband talked with their office on Friday August 12th and they stated somebody would contact him the following day. I filed a report with the BBB and if this isn't resolved , we will take them to small claims court. Beware ... The product on my tub and tile clearly is defective and all we want is our money back. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews for Bath Magic before contracting them to refinish my tub. The guy that some of the other reviews talk about named "Anthony" is now calling himself "Tony". And just like other reviews there were dry spots, drips, and finish problems. Carrie, the office Mgr., sent "tony" out again to fix the drips and finish issues, and everything got worse from there! More drips, more dry spots. We called Carrie and told her we need this fixed ASAP, she wanted to send Anthony (Tony), back out and we said NO! She said he was her best tech and didn't understand why we were having the problems we were? I explained at this point the only way to make this right is to strip the finish back down and start over with someone that knows what they are doing. She said "I'm not stripping the tub and offered us our money back", which we took considering the problems we have encountered already. Now we have to not only find another contractor, but pay to have the tub stripped. read more

We had 2 tubs reglazed and a full room of tile as well in 2011. I dropped a bottle and chipped one of the tubs but no problems for 6 years. We have appt for repair of my chip. Office is always friendly and helpful. I recommend this business it sure is nicer than having your bathroom tore up! read more

Wonderful! From the super friendly staff scheduling our appointment to our beautiful now white tub! We had the old retro pink bath tub and tile and are so pleased to have had it reglazed instead of replacing the whole tub. I called this company to re glaze my tub. It was not in bad repair it was just ugly and I was redoing my bathroom. The guy came out and ended up knocking out a tile. Not all the way but just enough that it over lapped the other tile and no matter how hard he banged on it he couldn't get it back in place. So he calls me in and says that he knocked that tile out of place when he was scrapping the caulking out and I would need to re grout it and call them back. It took 5 weeks to wait on the appointment that I took off work for and he was supposed to be there from 9:30 - 10 and shows up a little after 11:00. My tub was in better shape before he started. So now I have to first fix this tile and then reschedule for another month out. The more I thought about it the more frustrated I was so I thought I would call and tell them that I didn't think it is right that they broke my tile and now I am the one responsible to fix it thinking they would say, I'm sorry for the inconvenience maybe offer a small discount for the major inconvenience or even better (considering this is a company that is supposed to fix bathrooms) they offer to send out a trained professional to re grout the area. I would have even paid a slight fee for additional work if it were offered even though I don't feel this is my fault. Instead the lady was unbelievable rude. She said, "Well we are not taking blame for your tile falling out." I offered to send them a picture of the bathroom to show her this didn't "fall" out and that the bath tub is not in bad shape. I told her that if I wanted to re grout the tiles I would have simply replaced them all instead of hiring her company to spray the porcelain over it. Her reply was "Yeah well maybe you should." She continued to talk over me and minimize my concerns and frustrations. The customer service aside from the actual experience was absolutely appalling. I would in no way recommend that anyone use this company. The worker seemed to be inexperienced and the company its self has no pride in their product or service. read more
