A+ Home Remodeling Experience After scanning the internet…read morefor a company in the Dayton area for roofs, siding, soffits and some other outside updates, we were led to Dayton Roof and Remodeling. Chuck, along with his son, was quick to respond, listen to our needs, give us estimates, and remain in constant communication with us. Pictures were taken to show us what needed our attention and a scheduling of services began. We did not know that our chimney needed repair. One of his crew came prior to any roofing being installed to restore our chimney. We appreciated the detailed pictures that were shown to us before of the damaged areas and after to show us the work completed. His company/crews proceeded to install new wood where there was weather damage, put up weather barriers on everything, completed our roof, installed new siding over the original wood siding on our house/workshop. New porch posts were designed and detailed trim work completed. Each day the debris and trash were cleaned up and hauled away. They made sure everything was left neat and tidy. The job is done and everything looks beautiful! They have been working for 3 days now and seem to be replacing probably ¼ of my roof. We'll see how it goes, but so far I'm happy with the way things are going. Adjusting my rating. NOT happy so far. We got a new roof by Schaefer in 2021 because of leaks and we have had 3 leaks so far since our new roof. We just now discovered our 3rd. We're going to get a 3rd party inspection done and then possibly explore legal options. They were the highest bid, but we went with them because we thought they would do a good job (from past experience).

Pricing was excellent and transparent; work was promptly completed with high-quality workmanship and material, i.e. used structural screws instead of nails. When looking at a project, he often saved us money by suggesting and repurposing materials versus complete removal and waste. Also found that our carpet covered steps had unfinished oak treads - sanded, stained and re-trimmed with matching handrail work - nice! We now have a new very nice brick and stone paved patio, a stand-alone pavilion, re-designed all-season room, new LVP flooring in lower level of house, new ramp for our large shed (which needed work to correct issues from previous contractor) new/repaired steel front stair railings, plumbing work, etcetera. The owner of this business is a very busy, all-work oriented individual who concentrates on his work. Difficult to find a business with such dedication to each job and the particular, often customized details. Wife and I planning more work in near future, will certainly hire again.
