When I came to pick her up they had SHAVED her, or tried to, they'd completely botched it. She had mangled, matted fur in her tail, on her belly, she had half the fur left on her legs she looked like she'd been dragged under a bus. She was freezing and completely traumatised. And her nails weren't clipped even though they told me they were. Butchers. No care taken at all. I have a poor little mangled, scared cat. I'm in shock.

The girls here are WONDERFUL! It's always comforting to know you're leaving your friend in the hands of dog lovers! And they even have a backyard! I left her at day care for 4 hours in which she was walked for 15mins and it cost me $20 - I think we were lucky enough to get 1st time customer love! My pirate (french bulldog) got in the car happy and smelling great and tired after an eventful visit! All the other dogs are nice and clean! And we will most definitely be back and definitely recommending to all my FAV friends! Domo arigatou gozaimasu Maru-Maru!

Very reasonable prices for the inner west / Sydney and they do the most amazing job. Washed, styled, ears cleaned and toenails cut all for $58 per small dog. Even though my dogs are a pain when it comes to being groomed (which is why I gave up on trying to do it myself) these ladies are masters at wrangling feisty little bastards and making them look beautiful. Bows for the girls and scarves for the boys are included (super cute). They are really accommodating with drop-off and pick-up times around work schedules etc. They let the dogs mingle (clean on one side of the counter and dirty on the other, very courteous!) so if your dog is a trouble maker you might want to let them know. They have one strict rule and that is NO FLEAS! So make sure you get the frontline on your pups well ahead of their appointment. Can't recommend these guys enough. They also have speciality treatments like colour tinting, nail painting, mud baths etc for the super pampered pooch. Not to mention a shop with the cutest dog accessories from Japan and locally made doggy treats.

I recently had a really shocking experience with grooming services here as I witnessed one of the…read moregroomers hurting my dog. I had dropped her off to be groomed and went for lunch nearby. I decided to stop in to see when she would be finished and as I approached the store could hear a dog shrieking nonstop so I ran in. As I entered I saw the groomer roughly (extremely roughly) handling my dog and I yelled for him to stop, that he was hurting her. There were no apologies! I will never go back and do not recommend anyone try it. My dog is used to being groomed as she is every 2 months, plus lots of brushing in between. I have been in other shops while she is being groomed and I have never heard her make a sound. In fact, I've never heard her make a sound like that before. It makes me sick to think that groomer might still be abusing other dogs the way he abused mine.

This person Kong Guy Boonkerd insists that any dog can be brushed out and abuses the dogs to get them de matted and even has hot spots on his own dogs flesh from raking a brush over it to get the mats out resulting in the dog bleeding. This is a direct example of how you should NOT insist on brushing out a matted dog and to instead shave it down to a half inch. Instead of saying "thank you for the advice" he decided to attack my body image and called me fat and that I have my nose pierced so I must be cattle. I love pigs and cows so this is not an insult to me but the online bullying rather than accepting guidance is unacceptable and childish. I had this place recommended to me by someone I met while we were walking our dogs in Hollis Park…read more(hi Sarah), and I brought my foster dog Coco in for a bath-and-dry to celebrate the day she went to her forever home. We arrived before they'd opened, but David invited us in anyhow and (after asking about allergies) started feeding Coco treats. BFFs 4 lyfe. I filled in some paperwork and then took myself off to nearby cafe Gather on the Green for a takeaway chai while I read in the park. David very kindly rang to let me know when Coco was ready to be collected. The store is designed so that there's a gated enclosed area that allows the dogs to sit on a bench seat in the shopfront window, so the first thing I saw when I walked up was Coco staring out at me and going bananas. David gave me her report card (and I'd like to take a photo of it and post it here as it's adorable but I left it in my housemate's car) - gold stars all the way! and he'd even written a very sweet message about finding her forever home and gave her a gift bag of chewy boney things. My emotions were very surface-y and he was really very kind and helped me pick out a toy from the huge selection to keep her occupied. These guys also run a group doggy day care if you need your dog looked after while you're at work or whatever - I wish I'd had the wherewithal to take advantage of it because I have no doubt that any dog would have a good time and be well looked after there. (The Facebook pics from the sessions are super cute.) Coco was happy to see me in a I've-been-having-the-best-time-and-I'm-so-glad-you're-here! kind of way. Unrelated to this review, on our walk home we went via the old Darlington school in the grounds of Sydney Uni and Coco realised a two-month-long dream when she managed to jump into the swampy moat part and thus destroyed all of David's hard work grooming her.
