I've been using them for years. 1st with my 13 year old Yorkie and now with my 2 poodles. Always nice and professional, does a GREAT JOB with grooming my fur babies. If I could give 0 stars I would. My dog was there for 11 hours. I dropped him off at 8 am and he wasn't ready until after 7 pm. I never got a call or text or any communication letting me know he was ready. It wasn't until I showed up in person and asked where he was that I was informed he was just now getting groomed. They also did not give him water all day. He immediately came home and drank 2 bowl fulls of water. He NEVER does that. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I've never used this business before but have an upcoming appointment scheduled for my Old English Sheepdog next week. I spoke to Kim and was pleasantly surprised by her knowledge and recommendations for Bentley. She seemed to know a lot about OES. Due to a long and course coat etc., sheepdogs are not an easy breed to groom. I'm looking forward to seeing how well they groom him. Will post a review afterwards. read more

I will not go back. They had my dog from 7:45 am. Came by to check to see if she was done at 3:30 they said an hour and a half came back at 5:30 still hadn't started on her. So I just told them to give her to me and they charged me the 40 for the bath. So my dog sat in a crate for about 10 hours. read more

This was our first time at barks and bubbles! Harley has big time separation anxiety and is a bit hard to deal with when he's away from me. We have had trouble at most places and he comes back with cuts from impatient groomers. But I had a good feeling about this place when I dropped him off just from the girl at the front desk. I enjoyed my experience with Baths Barks and Bubbles. I was able to book my appointment through Facebook messenger. It was very convenient, and the staff was very friendly. They sent me a link to set up my account, and provide documents they need to prove my pet was vaccinated. I dropped off my pooch and let her enjoy the appointment. I did call and was told she wasn't ready, but they cut and bath them on the dogs time. Meaning low stress for them and I appreciated the care of the facility. I got a phone call and a text letting me know she was ready and I paid online so all I needed to do was pick her up. read more

Brought my sweet Murph here today. She is very small, very delicate, and has super thin hair with easily irritated skin. She looks great and I see no signs of irritation, even though I know naturally it may come but to no fault of the groomer. It was super easy to make the appointment through Facebook and their response time is impeccable. Fantastic customer service. All of the employees are super down to earth, that being said sometimes they can lack professionalism which is the only reason I don't give it 5 stars. This is in no way reflected in the quality of the groom or the communication though! It just feels not as put together as other groomers I have visited. I was referred here from the place I take my girls to for their doggy daycare. When I called to set the appointment the person was not friendly at all. I should of known then. When I went to go drop of my dog, the person at the front desk (I think she was the only one there) was so condescending when she was asking how I wanted it cut. I don't know the technical terminology. She provided me with a sheet that should of been sent prior to setting the appointment that basically went through the "rules" and the sheet went in detail how they don't do refunds. Which made me assume a lot of other people are unhappy as well since they had to address their refund policy. Anyways, I dropped her off at 8 am and called at 4 pm because I haven't heard from them and when I called to check in they told me they get worked in the order they come in which I find interesting since I brought her in first thing. Anyways, she also said that sometimes dogs are super aggressive and that's what takes longer. I know this is not the behavior of my pup because she treats it like a spa day. Some automated system called at 4:45 to come get her which I quickly arrived and saw her in a crate in the front with no one there to watch her. Someone could of came in off the street and taken her. When I got her I didn't see anything noticeably wrong until the next day when my other pup was paying a lot of attention to her paws and I looked and every single paw was red and irritated. I talked to my vet and she said it was due to the type of blade they used and she got an infection. I do NOT recommend this place at all. read more

Extremely disappointed. My dog is very even tempered. Everyone who has ever groomed him has always been very complementary of his behavior. A friend recommended them so I thought I would give them a try. When I went to pick him up I was told that he was very difficult to work with, which I find hard to believe. His hair was uneven and they had shaved his face completely. I asked what happened and she said that they messed up and tried to fix it. I was floored! The thought of what they did to my dog while he was in there care is just horrifying. The owner was out at the time of my arrival so I called once I returned home. I explained the nature of my call and was told she was out and he would have her return my call . She has yet to call! read more

On March 12 we left our dog, Bo in the care of this kennel for the weekend. On March 15 we recieved a phone call stating that our dog was transported from the kennel in Birmingham to a home over an hour away in Jasper, Alabama to where he was lost. This was done without our knowledge and permission. Bo is a 14 year old dog and has gone missing while in the care of this kennel. He can never be replaced. Please do not trust your dog with these people. read more

Wow.. I am so disappointed with this place. This was my second time here. And the second time was no better then my first time... I gave it another try because I saw all the great reviews, and thought maybe I'd try someone else. And it was no different. This time the owner cut my dogs hair. She had told me she had been grooming for 23 years. It's just so shocking to hear that because when I picked my baby up, his fur was all sorts of uneven so I pointed it out. And she fixed some of it . I had to go back to work so I didn't have time to stay and point out all of unevenness... I brought him back today for them to fix it. I told them specifically I did not want him any shorter then he is. So please tell me why they brought my dog back out to me way shorter then he was? It was a joke . And her response was "It will grow back in no time". I could not believe it. I'm not sure what part of "I don't want his fur any shorter" did they not understand? Still brought my pup out with unevenness. I have cut my baby's hair before and it is not easy I understand that but I have no experience so I don't expect it to look great. But for someone who's been grooming for 23 years I expect above what I received... I spent $60 for this and I was better off grooming him myself. I wouldn't have been disappointed as I was paying for this ... I will not be coming back or giving them another chance. I am so sorry but I do not recommend this place for your babies to get groomed . I will say they are very nice but it takes more then nice to keep business coming back. So disappointed. read more

Took my miniature long haired dachshund in for a grooming left the dog, her harness and retractable leash. When I go to pick up my dog, I find out they had given both her leash and harness to another customer. Their way of rectifying the situation was to offer to give me the customer's address for me to go pick it up. I declined to go show up at a strangers house to pick up things that had been entrusted to the groomers, from someone who had to know it was theirs when they took it. They offered me the use of a harness that was too big and was dirty and a leash designed for a pit bull size dog. Neither of these items were usable and I am disable so have to have them to take her out. When I get home I find out my dog's hair has knots and kinks in it. She could not have been combed out and did not appear to be properly groomed. I ended up having to take her to another groomer, buy a new leash and harness after I had paid and tipped Bath Barks and Bubbles! When I called them 5 days later, they say they found my leash and harness. I drive all the way to pick them up only for them to try to give me some other dogs harness and a broken leash! I guess I should just be glad they didn't loose my dog! The visit cost me and extra $70 above what I paid them. read more

I was very unhappy with the way my dog and I were treated at this groomer. While my dog came away looking decent, I was disgusted by the lack of professionalism. I called to make an appointment, but they said if I could make it by 11 am they would take him as a walk in. That worked well for me so I brought him in. I called several hours later and they had not even started working on him yet. This posed quite an inconvenience, but I chose to work it into my schedule to give them longer. I know sometimes schedules fill up quickly and I was a walk in. They claimed he was next in line but the dog before him was giving them trouble. When I was finally able to get my dog a few hours after that, they informed me that he had been aggressive and were charging an aggression fee because he "tried to bite." I found this hard to believe as my dog has never been aggressive toward anyone, animal or human. In fact, his groomers in the last town in which we lived had nothing but kind things to say about his behavior. Still, since I could not disprove their claim I paid them all they asked. Against my better judgment, I even left a tip. I felt it was the right thing to do even though I was unhappy with my service. When I got my dog home, I looked him over and found numerous small cuts on the pads of his feet from their "grooming." I'd still be surprised if he had tried to bite them, but I might have acted aggressively too if someone cut me during a pedicure! I absolutely will never return to this groomer and would not recommend them to anyone. TL;DR - Don't go to this groomer unless you want to pay extra for them to injure your dog! read more

I was very satisfied with the grooming, but was charged a different price than quoted , when I called to inquire, the person , at the new Roebuck location, was very rude, was on the defensive from the beginning of our conversation. He said my dog was matted, he showed my husband two small matts that were the size of a quarter for both, they were in an envelope, so I was charged an extra $10.00, she was not a matted dog . I have never had a groomer tell me my dog was matted and if she was, they didn't charge me more. read more

After speaking with the front desk clerk- I pointed out that my Standard Poodle had a few fatty tumors, and would they please be careful when they groomed him? I must say that they gave him quite a good groom- but when I got my dog home, we noticed that he was licking his right hip. By next morning- he had opened it up into a bleeding mess! I took my dog to his vet and received medication (steroid and antibiotic)- all to the tune of $86. I took him back to the vet a few days later and was advised to keep a "lampshade" on his head or wrap him up. After 2 weeks, we thought he had spent enough time to heal, and allowed him to be free for the day while we were at work- but when I got home- he had completely opened it up again!!! Another trip to the vet and more medicine... My wife called BB&B and told them what had happened- only to be told- "Oh, we're sorry- we'll make a note of it!" Thanks for the help for something they caused! All told- my dog was wrapped up with an Ace bandage for a total of 5 weeks! Yesterday- I received a call from BB&B to remind me that my dog was due for a touch up. Thinking that maybe I was speaking to someone who might care- I told them the story- their reply- "Oh, I'm sorry!" I wouldn't bring my dog back there after that uncaring attitude was shared!
