True, he's a person and not a business....but Baton Bob is as much of an Atlanta institution as the Big Chicken or Stone Mountain and deserves to be added to our local flavor section. On a side note, somewhere there's a redneck who just had a heart attack when I compared Baton Bob to the Confederate sculpture on Stone Mountain. Just doing my part, folks. Baton Bob (a.k.a The Ambassador of Mirth) can be seen around Piedmont Park or major intersections and parades. He's a majorette leading his own personal parade most of the time, waving to passing traffic and generally putting on an awesome show. The man has skills, 'nuff said. He's been featured on CNN, major newspapers, commercials, magazines, etc. Bob got into the majorette business as an attempt to lift spirits (his own and others') and do something he enjoys. For the entire Baton Bob history and ongoing saga, check out his page on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baton_Bob

I miss Baton Bob because I moved from ATL years ago. He's one the best parts of living in Midtown ATL. Spreading joy every where he goes

Baton Bob is an Atlanta Staple. If you haven't had a drink with Baton Bob you are not an Atlantan.

First saw Baton Bob in the Central West End in Saint Louis back in 2002-3 before coming to Atlanta. Where is Baton Bob now?!?!?!

My daughter requested the new princess "Elena" and I was having the worst of luck tracking her down. Found Cayleigh and Ever After and they had her! And might I say, she was the closest in resemblance to "Elena" that I saw in Atlatna. Booked her and "Tinkerbell" Was having a hard time talking with Cayleigh on the phone prior and we did the majority of our communication via fb and email, so I was getting nervous as party day got closer - Did I just pay this money to a company in India? ( I tend to over think things). But phew, I was wrong. The day of the party the princesses arrived and were magical. They did not break character once they walked in the door, so if you have any questions or any thing ask them when they call when they were on their way.

Fast forward 2 months later I have emailed and called asking for Caleigh to return my call and nothing. No return call at all! She emails me all of the sudden this week asking to confirm the party AT THE INCORRECT TIME AND NO ADDRESS on her email template and asking for me to pay the balance as soon as I'm ready via Venmo or credit card. I respond to the email, please call me. To which she responds, "have there been any changes to your event?" Then never calls. She emails tonight, one day before the party asking for the address. This is the most unreliable, unresponsive and unprofessional business experience I have ever experienced!!! Do not use!!!
