I reported her and had her removed from working with my husband. The CNAs are ok. Some are trifling though. Ms. Laterral was magnificent. The food is disgusting! The company that provides the food says the menu was suggested by the higher ups. It's a total waste. The people are always hungry. I literally had to purchase breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. It's a decent facility overall even the doctors offices however some people still seem as if they are finding their way. No real structure. I had numerous complaints about minute stuff. The day shift was good but that night shift would make you hurt them especially the CNAs. They would bust in the room and turn on all the lights just to dump garbage or write on the dry erase board at 4am. People are sleeping. I would say if you have someone to be treated there, stay with them. It's not bad but it could be better. House keeping rarely came but it is because there is only one house keeper and she had death in here family plus a broken foot during my husband's time there.

He brings witty banter and humor to your situation that helps you realize you can still find joy despite your pain. He conveys "the what" and "the why" of the activities he will have you perform, which helps you buy in and believe you will get better. He listens attentively to how you feel and modifies planned activities to ensure you receive accurate treatment tailored specifically to you. He knows when to push you to do more, but will also compassionately ease up if you say or demonstrate an inability to continue. No matter how busy the place is, he remains attentive to your every move. I love that no matter how many clients he has, he always makes time to check in with me and work on me himself. All of the therapists take time to smile, laugh, and greet you personally. They learn your name and respectfully use it when addressing you. One of the things I love most is their patience with the interns and young staff working there. I have never seen them mistreat or mishandle the younger staff, even when they make a mistake. They share their knowledge and experience with the staff in a way that makes it obvious they enjoy what they do and realize the importance of properly mentoring the next generation of therapists. Evolve is more like a community where everyone is welcome, irrespective of age, race, income, gender, or any other variable that society may use to promote segregation. I hope I never need therapy again, but if I do, I will quickly make my way back to Evolve.

I went to him two years ago and he did wonders for my back. I got off all of my pain pills. But I had my burn it only lasted like a year and a half, so I went went back to the office and got scheduled for another burn on May 28, 2019. The Friday before I was scheduled to get my first shot, they called me and told me there was something wrong with my Medicare and I couldn't get it done that day that they would take care of it. Well today is August 6, 2019. I have called several times, they have called me back but they leave no message on who I need to talk to so I have to start over and leave them another message, And another message and another message. Like I said the doctor is good but the people that work for him treat patients like their drug heads and they treat them with disrespect. And if you get emotional because you're in such pain they hang up on you. I will see the doctor again but not with the people he has around him now! Bad customer service!!!

I receive iron infusions often...I was nervous when I first came here, but the nurses and staff are…read moreso sweet and kind. The always offer to assist in anyway they can and I appreciate it. The warm blankets are a huge comfort considering you're in a cold hospital...having low iron makes you cold all the time and they are considerate of this. They also have the best crushed ice for ice munchers like myself. I am also gluten free and while you are receiving treatment they also offer snacks..they have gluten free snacks available; which is typically an after thought, if it is ever a thought at all. The environment is extremely peaceful and calming and the heated recliners are so amazing. This week, they handed out tubes of candy decorated as a bunny for Easter and that is such a sweet gesture. Though I do not enjoy being poked and prodded with needles, the comfort the workers offer the patients is top tier. I don't look forward to coming here, but the times that I am here, I take comfort in knowing that I am in the best of care.

I am not afraid because I know God will see me through this and every attack of evil that I will face in fighting for my brothers rights. I know he is already under attack and I pray for the Lord to protect him throughout this time and continue to give him strength and keep him positive and strong as he is attacked and not let him lose hope and continue to fight with the lord protecting him every second throughout this entire situation we are going through. There is obvious something very wrong here. I am asking, praying that the Dr.'s with Mary Bird Perkins please stop the what is going on do the right thing and treat my brothers cancer. Do the best you can with your knowledge and ability. My brother has been positive and has a great attitude. My husband is a poster child with MD Anderson, against the odds, my husband beat cancer and has been a cancer survivor since 2002. The Dr.'s and staff with MD Anderson always had a positive out look and believed "NEVER GIVE UP". My husband formed Bad to the Bone cancer drive at MD Anderson, he teamed up with Be the Match and together a lot of money has been raised for cancer. I later met Lance Armstrong that invited us and other cancer survivors and went to the capital in Austin and working together we got a bill passed that approved money for cancer that has saved thousands of lives and continues to grow. I am hoping the dr.'s at Mary Bird Perkins will do 100% for any patient fighting cancer. I believe if we are all a team against cancer and we all work together and encourage one another and NEVER GIVE UP!! Work together to save as many lives as we can.

Only problem today was that I was never told to remain NPO for my procedure. I finally asked someone who called last week to confirm appointment and she told me I could eat. This resulted in my receiving injections in my neck without general sedation. It wasn't great. I would've appreciated someone telling me I needed to be NPO and if you don't know if I can eat, find out to give me an honest answer. Anyway Dr Patel is very nice and is working to squeeze me in for an earlier appointment for another needed procedure due to my leaving the state for work shortly. I appreciate everyone's concern and I feel like they are really trying to heal.

I called to schedule an appointment, and the soonest I could get was 4 weeks in out. About two…read moreweeks later, their office called me to reschedule to a later date during that time frame. On the way to the office on the day of my appointment, their office called me again to reschedule. Since I was already two minutes out, I arrived anyway to make the appointment. They did get me in to see another doctor, but this person was not familiar with my medical history and failed to give me a thorough exam. I was told to come back in a few weeks for a follow-up MRI. In the weeks before the MRI, I received a letter in the mail stating that the MRI would need to be rescheduled. On the day before the (now rescheduled) MRI, their office called me stating that there was a major portion of my bill that wouldn't be covered by my insurance, and they refused to work out a payment plan that didn't involve at least a 50% payment; this was an obvious attempt to blackmail me into paying immediately, since they undoubtedly had this information in advance and waited until the last minute to inform me. I told them to cancel all my appointments as I wouldn't be dealing with them further. After three (3) appointment reschedules during what was a month and a half, I booked an appointment to see a neurologist at the Baton Rouge Clinic. I only had to wait 4 days to see a doctor who could spend the time to exam me thoroughly and do all the lab work I needed that same day. Having worked in the medical profession myself, I realize that it's a difficult and stressful life; that however does not compensate for unprofessionalism and incompetence. If you care about your health and finances, I recommend the Baton Rouge Clinic instead.

I have had 3 surgeries here. The first was a good experience. The second surgery was carpal tunnel,…read moreI met with and thought an experienced surgeon was going to preform my surgery, but a young doctor with little experience ended up doing it. It was the worst experience out of the 3 carpal tunnel release surgeries I've had. My last surgery was gallbladder removal, I asked the doctor at my visit who would be performing the surgery, she said she would be. Again, day of its a brand new doctor, barely looked old enough to be working, but I needed my gallbladder out so I didn't want to reschedule the entire procedure. He forgot to put a diagnostic code on my pain medication prescription, and could not be reached after surgery. So instead of my insurance covering my prescription I had to pay out of pocket. Another thing is I don't know why they have sick people working in the surgery department? One of the people that came to get me for surgery was visibly and audibly sick. Coughing and sniffling and had a mask just dangling off his face. Also, prepared to wait! Appointment or surgery they cannot do anything in a timely manner. I will only go back if it's my only option.
