BEWARE!!! What they Do Not tell you when you purchase is if the battery voltage is below 10, they will call it "neglected " and your warranty is VOID!! I specifically asked at the time of purchase, less than a year ago, if I needed to keep the reciept...was told no it'll be in the system. I just went into this store recently to get batteries for my Halloween decorations, they are always very helpful, courteous, to me, I've used this store for the 9 years I've lived in this area, I've bought the lifetime batteries for several watches also, and a couple died, I take them back and they replace them with no issues, I highly recommend this store for batteries, light bulbs, even car batteries!, they have!, I like friendly, nice people who are helpful. I would give this place zero stars. Had a lifetime battery replacement. They keep ruining the watches water resistance and then want to compensate the lowest dollar for the watch without paying for shipping etc and then they void your lifetime with our refunding that cost as well seeing it was they who nullified the service with their incompetence. Furthermore, they lie and stated they sent the watch out to get repaired when they did not. They wasted my time and energy having to go back 3 times. I take my five pound, premature baby to the physical therapy next door.. One morning the parking lot was full so I parked here. The Battery Plus worker literally saw me unpack my child and didn't say anything to me but when I returned, I see a note telling me not to park there. Your parking lot is literally EMPTY! I've never seen anyone there. Have some compassion next time or at least mention it to me WHEN YOU SEE ME! So annoying. You take this parking thing too serious. If nobody is parked at your store but the parking lot next door is full then it shouldn't be too hard to let a single mother park there with her child. I had an iPhone 7 that needed a battery and charging port replacement. They had difficulty repairing it and instead of putting it back on me and saying tough luck, They shocked me in their level of customer service. The manager, Mark, immediately got involved and explained that since they could not repair it to my satisfaction they would not just replace the same kind of phone, but upgraded me to an iPhone eights plus and as a bonus for the inconvenience of being without my phone, Mark increased my memory from 32 MB to 64 MB. The screen is bigger, with a brand new battery, twice the memory and is easier to use and view. When is the last time you receive this kind of legendary Customer Service? Me? Maybe in the 50s! LOL. They do so much more than just batteries, so if you need any kind of technical service provided, head straight down to batteries plus on Austin Bluffs Parkway and if there's a problem, talk to Mark, the manager - he will make it right. read more

Brand new Batteries+ X2 AGM battery for the boat. Swapped out the old battery with new. Put on the brand new charger and it was showing under 25% charged. It was barely lit when I put the charger on it. I thought these batteries are supposed to be fully charged when purchased. I'm a little worried, especially since I paid over $400 for this battery. This is a top of the line battery, so I will be disappointed if this battery is a dud out of the box. I have been very pleased with the service at this location. I'm sure if there is a problem they will take care of it. But to be on the safe side when I take the boat out on Tuesday I'll be sure to have a backup. read more

Just as simple as their website said. Terrance provided a quick diagnostic of my dying battery with the same tester that the parts stores use while it was still in my truck. So if it wasn't the battery, I didn't have to remove the battery myself in the parking lot. Then he quickly pulled the bad unit and installed my new one. Purchased a automotive battery in January 2021 with a 3 year warranty (or so they claim) the battery would not hold a charge took it back and they claimed user abuse and voided the warranty. They said we allowed the battery to drain below 10% but just exactly how would any consumer know how to determine that. Just another warranty scam from a disreputable company. DO NOT go to Batteries Plus! Went there two days ago to have damaged screen repaired on my son's iphone. Repair took twice as long. The gal said she was having trouble and was going as fast as she could, ( I wasn't asking them to hurry, just wanted phone repaired). She said she couldn't get the first new screen to work and had to put on another screen. She said there was a "ton of pressure" in the phone when she put it back together and "don't drop it or it will explode". She said if we had any problems we can bring it back or take it to any Batteries Plus. All was working fine until today it "popped" in my sons pocket and the screen had detached from the phone. We immediately took it to the closest Batteries plus. The tech there was baffled how that could happened. He made a couple calls and ultimately said he could take it apart and try and fix it. Shortly after that he called and said, we would have to take it back to the other store and that there was nothing he could do. He also said he put a screw in the phone to keep the screen on. I went back to pick it up and the tech there said, " I was wasting my time and there is no way we could get a warrant". I told him I didn't think I was wasting my time and asked how can this screen come off? He said he didn't know. I asked for a manager and he said, "they all went home, it's a 9-5pm gig". I asked for the District Manager. He said he couldn't give me his number. I offered to provide my number and to have him call me. He said the district manager was the one that said not to fix my phone. I asked if the DM even saw my phone. He said no. Interesting... the current damage on the phone is consistent with pressure from the inside of the phone and zero damage on the outside of the phone, but we don't know what happened, we have management making decisions without talking to customers or even looking at the phone, employees telling me I am wasting my time... I hope that is not the case and Batteries Plus will make this right. ****Update***** The tech named Jason ultimately was able to correct and fix the issue on my son's phone, but not after repeatedly telling me it was not their fault, there was no way we made this happen and nothing the previous tech did was wrong. I explained again, all I know is 36 hours after you "fixed the phone" it popped in my son's pocket, pulled it out and the screen was off. He went as far to say, "I should talk to my son more to see what really happened." Then proceeded to ask me to change my Yelp review. I said I would definitely do that. I would change it to, "You reluctantly fixed my phone" and I asked if that would be fair and accurate. He said, "we went WAY ABOVE the call of duty on this and I should remove it. I let him know this was my review and to have a nice day. Did I mention the Store Manager, also named Jason, was present the entire time and didn't say a word. Don't think I'll be back any time soon, but thanks for fixing your mistake. I think reviews are earned, good or bad, and you earned this one. read more

Worse customer service ever got my IPhone screen repair at this store, right after I put inside a life proof case not even 12 hours later I noticed a cracked in the screen came back to the store to let them know that the replacement wasn't properly installed and to see if they could replace again the manager Jason said that it was a impact and that it was going to cost me another $89 to get it fix not even looking at the receipt or the phone he petty much told me if I want it fix that what it was or take it to another cellphone repair store. Saturday morning, up early to take wife's car to dealer for service. Cold morning, when I cranked the car, it started but I could tell there was a problem with the battery. Slow to turn over and start. Anyway got car serviced, mentioned to service tech, they checked battery it was on it's way out. I buy my tires, batteries from tire and battery stores, not the dealer. Just what my dad taught me. I haven't needed a battery since moving here 2013, but need one now. Got home on the laptop, started looking. Search best cold weather battery, pulled up several options, stock for my car and alternates. Made stops at W-M and four auto parts stores. Not much to choose from, I had seen Duracell at Batteries Plus Bulbs and several other brands. Picked up phone called Austin Bluffs store and spoke to Terrence. Discussed symptoms, the brands they carry, spec's for my Subaru - CA/CCA, dimensions, warranty, cost. Terrence said he would check battery in my car and we could look at alternates. Headed that way. Walked in met Terrence, really nice guy. Friendly and obviously very knowledgeable about their products, applications...knows his stuff. Checked my bat., half way down in the red on the meter. Time for a battery. (don't want to get a call from wife, stranded with battery problems) Looked at several, ended up getting a much better choice, Duracell with around 700 CCA (instead of 550) and 3 year warranty! (instead of 2) Terrence pulled old battery, I cleaned up around battery tray Terrence cleaned terminals and installed battery (with felt washers) and he sprayed anti-corrosion products on freshly cleaned and tightened terminals. He asked me to crank car, turned over much faster that ever since we've owned car and cranked up immediately. Went in paid for battery & washers, got my contact details entered, handed me the receipt and I'm on my way. I have used this store for several other items in the past. Like a good tire store, these guys know about batteries for everything. Take the guess work out of something most people don't know a lot about, me included. Go to the professionals. This is now my battery store. Again Terrence is a great guy. Enjoyed talking to him while he installed battery. Plus he's a Native Coloradan. (An endangered species what with all the Texans, Californians, Kansans moving in, well you know what I mean!) I will be taking my Moto Guzzi battery in when I get a chance. I took my IPhone 5s in here about a month ago to have the screen replaced after shattering it. They were helpful and replaced it quickly, however the screen kept having touch response issues on the interface. I would also sporadically find the LEDs behind the screen light up improperly. I waited a while to see if the problem persisted before taking it in to have it fixed (free 6 month warranty). I finally took it back to be replaced a month later after figuring the issue was because of the new screen. Some of the problems I had weren't appearing at the desk when I showed Jason, the customer service guy, so he wasn't willing to replace it. Paying $110 to replace a fairly old iPhone screen is too much to have done improperly, so I insisted he do it anyway. Again, quick service, Jason successfully replaced the screen and it looked clearer than the previous, as well as functioned perfectly. I wouldn't recommend this place, based on the fact that I had to argue just to use my warranty; but they did fix my phone, the second time. read more
