I note someone else's review about a cheaper battery at Canadian Tire. I have tried that and you pay for what you get. Be sure you check the reviews on the battery. And if you think you get a warranty on the batteries there, it's not that easy. I tried that once too and after you pay for the battery check and re-installation they were going to charge me more to replace the battery under warranty than I paid for the battery in the first place. Best go to the independent business, good service is important to them.

a few months back i acquired a great deal on a 100wt panel at canadian tire and needed some closing…read morehelp making all components functional. i have an off grid trailer in Saskatchewan. this past summer the mvp for maximum fun was a recreational battery charger that has AV plugins, allowing dvd movie nights etc. i was charging it at home before going out. naturally i was a little intimidated to go into a high end pro shop like Solar Super Store with my modest set up. however the end result was some of the happiest i have been all this year. Dale was welcoming and positive. i totally benefitted from his skill and knowledge. there was no judgment at my small job situation. we problem solved a few things and in less than half an hour i walked out with a system set up that should radically benefit my off grid living. Dale drilled a few hooks and made it that the cord he sold me hooked strait up to the battery pack and the solar panel. i was really stoked and grateful from the solutions achieved. i look forward to accessing my independent system and feeling fantastic from it. i highly recommend solar super store. thanks again for the quantum good vibes!!
