We used batts when we first bought our house 3 years ago for the carpets. They did such a great job and the cost was low that we used them again, but this time for the tile as well. With 3 dogs at home (one is a puppy that is potty training), our floors really needed a deep cleaning and that's exactly what we got. The price this second time with all the extras was higher than I thought it was going to be, but It was my husband that agreed to all the bells and whistles and paid for it. The house still smells great 3 days later. I'll definitely use them again when the puppy is done with potty training. Update: most of the carpet stains came back up within a week and the puppy hasn't been here, so I know they aren't new stains. I feel the regular carpet clean yielded the same result and was 100s of dollars cheaper. Dropping one star. read more

I met James when he was first starting out, then, just him and an old van, it was mid-90's felt like 110 and he was carrying equipment up steps, little while later passed this condo again and he hadn't slowed down and looked like he had spent an hour in a sauna! which he had while working his tail off. I introduced myself and got to really like him. He would clean my upholstery and carpets each year, always at a very fair rate with great quality. It is great to see the new vans, equipment and see his success after that first meeting, very proud of this guy and this is the type of person that you want to hire and do business with. I was excited when they said they could accommodate me the same day. The guy was prompt and professional. He cleaned the place in less than 30 minutes. I was impressed. However the carpet was very wet. He said it was gonna be dried in 30 minutes. It was not. In fact it took 3 days to dry. He said the cleanliness of the carpet would be evident after the carpet was dried. When I realized the carpet was still looked the same it was pass the redo time. I have been using James Batts to clean my carpets for years. James and his employees are courteous, on time and work super hard to get the carpets as clean as possible. I have two dogs that have potty accidents and have practically ruined my carpets on several occasions, but James Batts works miracles every time they come. They have also cleaned the upholstery on my couches and recliner many times over the years. They have NEVER been late, NEVER overcharged. They are VERY reasonable and always go above and beyond. You will not find anyone better. I am not related to them and have no ties to this company - just want them to get the recognition and business that they deserve. The bad reviews I have seen are outliers, years ago, and don't reflect the type of company they are. That's my two cents worth! read more

I've used Batts' on more than one occasion to have my carpets and mattresses cleaned and I've always been satisfied. I feel like they are an honest, family run business that doesn't try to overcharge or sell you something that you don't need. They did a great job on the carpets, looked and smelled great and dried quickly. Was very pleased with the cleaning done on 2 of our mattresses, looked almost brand new afterwards! I'm sad that there are some negative reviews for this company as I've never had a bad experience with them. In fact, another reputable company referred me to them when they weren't available to do the job. I will call them for my next cleaning job. read more

Showed up on time, but did not introduce himself who he was where he came from, Van had no logo. Had to asked what he wanted. Made the owner aware of that I am DISABLED the day before I hired them and if they would move a couple of small shelf's, like bathroom shelf's and a small work table, More like a small desk. The owner said they would, well this guy showed up by himself and I had to move furniture! NOT GOOD !!!! Charged for one room $55.00, where i could have otherwise a 3 room special with furniture move and moving back of the furniture. Highly disappointed. read more

Outstanding service at an excellent price. Troy, the technician was courteous and friendly. We needed our carpets cleaned because we were putting our house on the market to be sold. The carpets had some areas of heavy pet staining, so carpet replacement was going be on the bargaining table for replacement for the sale of the house. Well after Troy was finished the carpets looked so good that that bargaining chip was taken off the table! And we sold the house in a week - Thanks Batts. read more

Our dog managed to turn the sink on while we were at work and flooded our bathroom, closet and even guest room! We called at 1am and James himself showed up within the hour to extract all the water from the carpets and fix everything. Took them a short amount of time and the price was great!!! First, they were two and a half hours late. I had an appointment at 8 am for a move-out clean and then a carpet cleaning. The house keepers were supposed to come first. They did not show up until 10:30 am, after I had to call the business multiple times and kept being told that they were on their way. On their website they advertise an "Aggressive" move out clean, which is supposedly house keepers and coming and cleaning an empty house between tenants. Since I was in need of getting the carpets cleaned and am very busy, I decided it would be worth it to look into the move out clean to save myself the hassle. Well that turned out to be a huge mistake. When the house cleaners finally showed up, they arrived in a beat up mini van- with no company font or anything. I walked them around the empty house and told them what I needed done. The appliances in the kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave), the wooden floors in the hallway and the entry room, the tile floors in the two bathrooms, windows, the fans in the 3 bedrooms, dusting the blinds, and general dusting/cleaning of the mantel of the fireplace and all the counters/shelves in the kitchens and the bathrooms, along with the showers and the toilets in the two bathrooms. I left them at the house and went to work for the day. When I was off work at 5 pm and had not received any type of phone call for payment or a progress update, I drove over to the property. It was empty, and had not been cleaned completely yet. I immediately called the business and was told the technician was on his way, I inquired about the cleaning and was told that it would be finished. The wooden floors had not been done, the windows had not been done, the tile floors had not been done, and there was still dust on the mantel and the blinds. It smelt like lemon air freshener though, so having good faith, I assumed they had cleaned something and would complete it. Eventually, a van with the Batts logo and a much more professional single technician showed up in an actual uniform. I left him there and said to call me when he had completed the cleaning and carpets. An hour and a half later I get a phone call saying he was finished, I told him that I would pay over the phone via credit card, but then he told me it was going to be over $300!! When I called and set up the appointment the week before I was quoted $150 for the entire thing!! Obviously this was a problem, so he gave me his owners phone number to call and complete the payment. After talking on the phone with him, he brought it down to $225 "because they had been late" and I just was in a hurry to end the conversation and continue on with my night, so I agreed and paid over the phone. The next day I went into the place, they had never completed the house cleaning, let alone an "aggressive" one as their website says. The carpets had some kind of hard feeling residue on them once they dried and you could tell in certain places where instead of changing out the clean water in the carpet machine, he continued with dirty water so it left this kind of two toned streak looking pattern towards the end of a few rooms. I tried to dispute the claim through the BBB. The "business owner" completely lied to the BBB in response to the complaint. He was very insulting. He even told the BBB that the reason that they lowered the price was because I had "lack of funds"!! That is the biggest false claim I have ever heard. They are a shady, untrustworthy business! They are unprofessional, do a terrible job, are late, and -most importantly- take advantage of young, blonde girls and then have no problem lying about it!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I can't even give them a 1. I have never seen a company that is so unorganized!!! I called yesterday to schedule an appointment for next day service. I made the appointment with someone and then with in the hour I get a call from someone else asking did I call there business. I told the young lady that I had just made an appointment with someone. She was not aware of what I was talking about. Well come to find out it was there answering service that I made my appointment through. I had to then give my info again with the appointment for next day at 11am. At 11:15 i called Batts to see if someone was on the way, I was informed that I had no appointment and that their was no one available because they were tending to a flood. I am upset at this point I have everything in order for the work to be done. I told her that the flood was not my problem and that this company should have more than one cleaning truck. I was able to call another company to come out the same day within the hour. I do not recommend Batts to no one. read more

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Cleaners showed up late and did a rushed job. Carpet was passable, only to find that they had ripped out an internet cable and nearly sliced it in half. Even after the cleaner admitted that's likely what happened, management continues to evade responsibility weeks later - they'll say the person in charge is out of the office for the day, but call in half an hour later from a different number and there they are! Not you can show up in person either, since their office address listed above is a residential home. I wouldn't trust these dishonest responsibility shirkers any further than I could throw them. read more

I was very pleased with the entire process of working with Batts Carpet Cleaning. James came out to my place on a Saturday morning for the free estimate. He had a crew out that Tuesday. Fast, quality service. Batts Services completed carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning and move in house cleaning as per my request for my new home (new to me, the home was 9 years old). James was very personable, very reasonable prices, great work. He advised me what services he felt would benefit my situation, he did not try to up sale me, take advantage of my situation, there were no hidden fees, I felt 100% comfortable and confident to have him and his crew in my house. The carpets look brand new. It was great not to have to climb a ladder to the ceilings to clean the air conditioning vents or spend all day bent over cleaning the base boards.
