I am not an expert on Indian food, but I really enjoyed this place.
We never would have found it had a friend not told us its location, as it is somewhat hidden away up a narrow staircase on a small road, but it is absolutely worth locating. (And once you go inside, its appearance quickly improves.)
The waiter was a very nice man who spoke at least three languages and was happy to educate us on various types of the cuisine and when my friend was still unable to choose he recommened a type of sampler platter that came with small portions of four different entrees. The sampler, combined with my entree (a chicken and potato curry) was more than enough for the two of us, especially when paired with the fresh cheese naan.
And really, if there is anything more refreshing than sipping on the perfect pineapple lassi while on the covered patio on a warm night, I haven't discovered it yet. read more
