I purchased the car last year with all around windows with about 15% tint. Since it is getting hotter and summers passing by soon, I wanted it darker so we decided to get 5% all around. I made an appointment through their website and put a $60 mandatory non refundable deposit. Dropped off my car and picking it back up within about 3ish/4 hours. After looking at the car, I do notice some bubbles but he mentioned that if it continues to have bubbles within the next two weeks, I am able to bring it in free of charge to get it fixed. He did a really good job on my tint, I already got compliments from a couple people I wanted to refer them to. I really liked my tint job, I would've given 5 stars but I was disappointed because I paid more than the initial given price :/ I was given a total price of 220$ for all four windows (which came out so nice!) but because I used my debit card I was told I had to pay fees and paid almost $20 extra. I had already placed a $40 deposit with my debit card prior to my appointment to reserve it, and so I still owed $180, I ended up paying almost $197 at checkout. I wish I would've known this was the case prior to payment so I would've had cash handy for payment. It also took almost three hours for my car to be done.. After about 1 and a half hours I called to ask what the status of my car was and the receptionist let me know it would be about 30/45 more minutes. I came in about 40 minutes later and when I arrived I was told my car was still not ready & that it would be another 10/15 minutes. I'm definitely not complaining about the quality but the wait time and price change were not what I expected. Make sure you take cash or you'll have to pay fees read more

He is very professional and extremely thorough explaining the entire process and how to care for your windows once you leave. My latest tint job was to have him do ceramic tint on the front windshield of my truck. I highly recommend doing ceramic tint on the front windshield to reduce heat. This is where most of the heat comes into your vehicle. And most people neglect to do the front windshield. I still need to make another appointment to have my car done in the same stuff. read more

This is the work they do on a $80k show car. No customer loyalty. I brought them 5 cars. They didn't care about that. They completely blew me off. All my friends and I at Laguna seca, Thunder Hill and Capitol San José car scene will be going somewhere else now. The girl that works for them is incompetent and rude. Yes, you are right My car is 50k and I have 30k+ in parts and labor since that previous review. It's a 2021 fully built track car. I'm simply saying how much I care about the car and how much effort, time and money is put into it. How is paying with a card charged tax? but paying with cash isn't charged tax? I've never heard that before. I asked why and she kept saying that over and over like a robot. Okay why? Yeah, somebody broke or anybody would appreciate an extra 20 dollars burned up for no reason of course I said that. I told her my Loyalty and she just blankly stares at me, not hey I remember or really you did? Thanks, but, or hey you know this is the way we have to do it now or anything In that nature. Just stares like the robot thing. That's not good customer service. I never asked or tried to get a discount at all. I ended up having to download this app and make a profile to get the $20 off per her telling me to equal what I was expecting to pay, Which was more time and annoying, when most car businesses I deal with go hey you have spent allot of money here don't worry we got you. I'll charge you how much we said we would. I read the fine print. It says there will be a charge to use card. Yeah $3 dollars or $10 or $15 but $20!? I spent allot of money here and told so many people in the car scene about this place. How can I feel happy about all this? Why would I contact y'all and just feel railroaded again? So I wanted to share my experience. If the job was done right, whatever, forget about it! But it's not even done right! I look at it everyday and decided to speak up. That is all. There is no other elaborate sob stories or funny business with any numbers here. "I don't remember no $80k car" dude seriously how would you know that? Why can't you just say you remembered me or not instead of trying to make me look fishy or dishonest publicly about my numbers? Pretty straight forward. I was charged way more than I thought. This is LONG overdue review. (Serviced on OCT 3, 2018) At the time I was searching for a place to get my rear windshield tints replaced, as the the last tint started to peel. I happen to scroll upon Bay Area Window Tint, unlike any other person, I read the reviews and saw the mostly 5-Stars. I messaged the business with full detail of what I am looking for and asked for quotes. Within 15-20 minutes I recieved a response from Luis with price range and types of film + warranties that he had to offer. We scheduled an appointment with ease. Upon arriving to the scheduled appointment, please note, this business is in a home, tinting is done inside his garage. I know some people are skeptical of getting things done at a residential home but when looking at his garage, it is well organized, well kept, all tools and products are neatly staged, very professional and you can tell Luis takes his business seriously and with care. When meeting Luis, he's customer service is on point. He gave me his undivided attention, answered all my questions about tinting such as what is legal, what is his opinions on whats is the best darkest tint to have privacy and cause the least vision impairments while driving at night. He didn't give me the vibes of needed things to be done in a timed schedule. Before arriving to the appointment, I thought removing the old tent would help him out more. I did it with intentions of being courteous, but he did informed me when looking inside my car, that removing it myself and not professionally, would cause the some residue and extra work for him, which would be at an additional cost. But I believe he let me off that time, as there was minimal residue. (But I suggest letting him remove the tints himself if you're going for a replacement, even if there is an additional charge, i feel like it would make his job a bit more easier) The service was estimated to take about 2-3 hours long, if i remembered correctly. He said I could stay around, or go on with my day and he would give me a call once it is ready. After possibly a little less than 2 hours, Luis informs me that my car is ready to be picked up. The work and attention to detail was phenomenal. No bubbles, minor water streaks (but he informed me that they will dry up in time). Great work and up to now, no bubbles, no lifting. Still the same way it has been since installation. I had all 4 windows and rear window serviced. What made me really want to write a review was because of 1 small specific detail. Most people wouldn't care about this but, some times the smallest gesture can make the difference in a experience. Luis applies a custom sticker on top of your window control buttons that gives you a reminder to "Do not roll down your windows until ________" I thought this was very mindful. We are humans and we tend to forget so having that sticker blocking your window controller can really help. In fact some businesses wouldn't inform you about rolling down your windows. Just because of that sticker alone, that little extra push for customer service was the reason I wanted to make a review for this business. It took me a couple of years, and I wish I still had the photo of the sticker he applied. But it's better late than never. I highly recommend getting your tints from Luis. Umm not happy. There is water/liquid marks on the side doors. The installer did not even dry it up with a towel or napkin. My sister took her 2016 car to get tinted with this company on 6/4/2020. Her car was left cleaned, just the way she took it in. I am not happy that after I picked up my car, I had to dry up the wet spots that the installer could've cleaned I was not happy. My car is a 2020 Toyota Highlander, so you can see why I am upset that I had to clean up the wet spots in my car. I previously got my older car tinted with a different company and I did not have any issues. Overall, the tint came out great! Except the fact that my car has the wet stains :( read more
