Had to replace the tint on a window so I made an appointment. I showed up exactly on my appointment time and they said there are 2 cars in front of me and had to wait a couple hours! When I made the appointment they said it was only going to take 30 mins for 1 window so I planned on waiting. On the day of the appointment they took walk in's and now I have to wait hours which I never arrange to get picked up! Very unprofessional and gave me attitude. Ive been coming here for the last 8 years for many tint jobs & I actually used to really like this place & refer a lot of people to come here until my recent tint. My windshield cracked and I replaced it. After it was replaced, I came here to get it tinted but I had to come back to get the tint fixed because it wasn't done correctly the first time and I had a bunch of air bubbles. After they removed the tint and re-did it, I noticed that they put multiple long scratches in my brand new windshield. Plus after waiting a week and a half, the tint still isn't placed correctly because I still have air bubbles. This shop never used to be this bad or rush their work but after the scratches in my new windshield, I don't think I'll be coming back. read more

This place was recommended to me by a few friends so I figured I'd give it a shot. Reached out on IG for an appointment. Responses were quick, booking an appointment was a breeze. Dropped off my car and was told it would take about 2 hour. Got a call at around 2 hour mark it was ready. Tint looks GREAT, I love it. Once I got closed I noticed smears ALL over the door panels. They didn't clean up the excess that trailed down to the doors, along with finger prints on the windows. Pretty disappointing because I got a car wash BEFORE. Wasn't expecting it to be perfectly clean, but it was all over. read more

Just avoid this place. Took my brand new Sierra Denali for a tint match in the front windows on January 15 2023 and they ruined my trim, looks like they absolutely drenched my door panels with water/solution. Took the truck back to them the same day and one of the guys agreed it was water damaged, he took pictures of the doors and vin to supposedly order new trim, he also got my phone number and said they would contact me. A few hours later I got a call back and they said to give it a week for the swelling to come down. After a week I took it back to them and it still looked the same, he got my phone number once more and said they would contact me. It's been a month and I haven't heard anything from anyone regarding my door trim. I've taken multiple vehicles here for tint and referred as well but this place isn't was it once was. Save your money and trim and find a better place. Reviews matter. I don't want a refund or money, I just would like my trim replaced! read more

I had my SUV taken there last month and was quoted a reasonable price($160) for full tint. Was very happy with the initial service. Took my Sedan there a month later and was quoted $200? Make sure you check the work before driving off , Took our New car with under 100 miles for all around window tint . After getting home I realized that they scratched the door/window plastics one with the razor blade and both pieces with a dirty rag. They admitted of scratching one piece with the razor blade but not the 2nd piece so they order only one "NEW OEM HONDA" part. After the part was replaced it looked used or NOT OEM". The Owner (Jay)told me that its not his fault Honda sold him the part like that and to call Honda to have them to fix it ‍ why put it on if it came in like that. He even admitted it looked different but said it wasn't he's probl anymore, this wasn't my first car at this shop but for sure my last. He told me to put armor all I want to apologized to all my friends I recommend them to this place In the past. read more

I have a new car, They got the car done pretty quick and it looked good when I left, but later I noticed they did not tint the smaller rear windows, They looked tinted from the outside but from the inside you can tell they didn't tint them. I also found out later, the rear door on driver side would not open, and it worked fine prior to taking car in. I had to take to the dealer to get fix and they had to replace some parts, not sure what they did to the door. If you car wasn't new it probably would have cost me more to fix door than the tint job cost me, and the tint job wasn't cheap read more

My car was dropped off by Gilroy Toyota so they could tent my windows on Monday the 18th I received my car back the end of the day. There was a hair bubble in the back window. And bubbles all over the side window. And solution all over the leather seats and running down the side of the doors. I let Gilroy Toyota Return the car to them so they could fix it. Tuesday the 19th I went to pick up my car from Platinum Tinting at 7:15pm saw more bubbles and Was told the bubbles will go away to leave it in the sun. Then the man said the F" word to me and said do you see that truck my tint company does very well for its self as you can see from Mr truck. When I got home the back door hatch now has a popping sound when you open it. It's sounds broken and the bubbles are still there. I am so frustrated with this tinting company.
